i'vw seen Carlsen in a dozen of this 1 min vs 9 min videos. It's clear that he easily is winning in all of them but whats the point of doing these games for Carlsen? It's obvious he's not learning anything from these games with vastly inferior players and he always looks bored. I dont understand. Is it PR? does he simpply enjoy crushing little kids? what is it?
@valg321 Giving an opportunity to these kids to meet and play their idols... ask yourself, why would star sign some authographs? same thing, its for the fans
Would love to see Magnus play Fischer. If there was truly a freak in bullet chess it was Fischer. Even though Magnus is brilliant....Fischer had savant like mental processing speed that would given any of todays Super GM's problems at a 1 minute game. Paul Morphy was another freak similar or possibly even exceeding Fischers memory capacity.
@JoshdaROCKSTAR9999VS Well as most top dogs in chess he can play blindfolded. So I guess he doesn't need to keep staring at the board all the time to analyze the position =P
@ajzaf aha, I remember when I lost in the finals of the competition once because I was playing to fast! For some reason, when the opponent plays fast, it feels weird not to match in speed, neveretheless, it is never okay to play out of your comfort zone in regards to speed unless you are under a time crunch. If this kid truly had 9 minutes, then he should have been using it!
While you thinking then it's your turn, opponent does the same. So if you go after 5 minutes, while your oponent has 1 min, he/she will answer straight away - and that's not only because of time limit but because opponent actually had time to figure out what to do during your 5 minutes. So time advantage isn't such a plus as it might seem, especially in highest level.

Magnus has already maped out all variations that this kid could play in his mind and he's like,,,, This shit is over already it's just a matter of time,,, let me see what's going on in the game next to me LOL while this young busta thinks about which bad move he's gonna play next. LOL!!!
@neotron11 Every time I watch him play he's like that. Even when playing against Avronian and other top rated players, he's totally distracted for half the match. The guy's a freak. How can he do that?
Hope the opponent learnd a lesson after this game. I am not even a very good player, but one of the basic rules is always to get your king in safety early. This guy opened both sides and then it was to late to castle.
I didnt play very well i know that for sure. But he is also very difficult to play against (obviously, as he is the best player in the world), and the pressure was a bit too high for me i think, i didnt manage to play with low shoulders, as i should have.
@jhonjay11 Carlsen in good form with good focus would beat fischer. Kasparov is better than fischer (he's the greatest ever) so it's harder to beat him but Magnus is getting there Kasparov was 2851 Magnus still has a little bit to go. Magnus suffers from a slight lack of work ethic and focus, this is evidenced by his recent form. Kaspy tried to help him by coaching him, hopefully he'll get back on track.
