  • WTF is with the kid chewing on the water bottle, what is with chess and bringing out the trolls of society.

  • Magnus has probably said to the boy- I have a million ways to beat you.Which one do you pick?

  • i'vw seen Carlsen in a dozen of this 1 min vs 9 min videos. It's clear that he easily is winning in all of them but whats the point of doing these games for Carlsen? It's obvious he's not learning anything from these games with vastly inferior players and he always looks bored. I dont understand. Is it PR? does he simpply enjoy crushing little kids? what is it?

  • @valg321 Giving an opportunity to these kids to meet and play their idols... ask yourself, why would star sign some authographs? same thing, its for the fans

  • @valg321 He don't choose his opponent

  • Superb of course, but he can calculate on his opponent's time.

  • His face "move bitch ,move i am boooored"

  • z z z z z z z z z z z z z z z z z xD

  • I bet he's mentally winning all and doing post-mortem analysis in all the other games on his table, while waiting for this kid to play.

  • nooo pero si juega contra un marrano!!!

  • so he beat him in 18 seconds?

  • didnt he pull the same type of play with kasparov haha he had like 2 min and kasparov had 13min and he got up to get orange juice lul #troll.

  • Would love to see Magnus play Fischer. If there was truly a freak in bullet chess it was Fischer. Even though Magnus is brilliant....Fischer had savant like mental processing speed that would given any of todays Super GM's problems at a 1 minute game. Paul Morphy was another freak similar or possibly even exceeding Fischers memory capacity.

  • Watching the other games lol.

  • he looks bored.

  • @JoshdaROCKSTAR9999VS Well as most top dogs in chess he can play blindfolded. So I guess he doesn't need to keep staring at the board all the time to analyze the position =P

  • he should be proud that he played with carlsen no matters he lost !!!

  • Why would you make moves so fast against the No. 1 player in the world. TAKE YOUR TIME!!!

  • @ajzaf aha, I remember when I lost in the finals of the competition once because I was playing to fast! For some reason, when the opponent plays fast, it feels weird not to match in speed, neveretheless, it is never okay to play out of your comfort zone in regards to speed unless you are under a time crunch. If this kid truly had 9 minutes, then he should have been using it!

  • @TheUniverseExists

While you thinking then it's your turn, opponent does the same. So if you go after 5 minutes, while your oponent has 1 min, he/she will answer straight away - and that's not only because of time limit but because opponent actually had time to figure out what to do during your 5 minutes. So time advantage isn't such a plus as it might seem, especially in highest level.

  • @MetalScull Exactly, thanks for pointing out.

    Bxf3 Nxd2+ 22. Kd1 Nxf3 0-1

  • he can probably play against 9 players at once with his 1 min

  • you mean 20 seconds vs 9 min

  • Magnus has already maped out all variations that this kid could play in his mind and he's like,,,, This shit is over already it's just a matter of time,,, let me see what's going on in the game next to me LOL while this young busta thinks about which bad move he's gonna play next. LOL!!!

  • @neotron11 Every time I watch him play he's like that. Even when playing against Avronian and other top rated players, he's totally distracted for half the match. The guy's a freak. How can he do that?

  • @neotron11 .HAHALOLO WHAT A LOSSER!!!!

I bet 20 bugs that this kid will win you easily.

  • Lucky kid, just to play vs him is an honor.

  • you know he is epik when he doesnt even look at the board when its not his turn.

but he just does all his thinking when it is his opponents turn

  • Why is this GM playing 14year olds?

  • @calleroev What's age got to do with anything? You can ask that same question to all the GM's who lost to a 14 year old Bobby Fischer.

  • he used some of his opponent's time!

  • he also thinks beside games on hes opponent time....

  • Carlson pays more attention to the on his left than his own

    WTF

  • Q - If Carlson has 1 minute, how much time do you have? A - IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH TIME YOU HAVE!!!

  • @172km Carlsen*

  • He's scouting the competition while he plays! That's just sick.

  • @RebornXSoldier He's just bored these guys are all noobs to him.

  • magnus moving his pieces in his opponents time again.

  • chuck norris plays with milleseconds per move

  • where is his orange juice? did he already drink it?

  • Ajedrez*

  • Vas a poner uno q se masturba cn el ajedres cn uno q apenas esta aprendiendo a hacer pipi!

  • @WTwolfteamWT what is that about masturbation u are talking on a chess video?

  • I saw this game :)

  • except its not really fair. the whole time he waits for his opponent to make a move he can think about his next move..

  • @ampyun Thats the point, want more time? player better.

  • Magnus was playing a 1 min match, and he was peaking across at the other board at the same time, DAMMM!!!

  • Move Wilson, Move!!!

  • Hope the opponent learnd a lesson after this game. I am not even a very good player, but one of the basic rules is always to get your king in safety early. This guy opened both sides and then it was to late to castle.

  • @Sfeffo22 it depends, there are games that i have to delay castling in order to attack faster.

  • @Sfeffo22

Hi (I am the dood getting pwned )

I didnt play very well i know that for sure. But he is also very difficult to play against (obviously, as he is the best player in the world), and the pressure was a bit too high for me i think, i didnt manage to play with low shoulders, as i should have.

  • @civi5sc2 hello can i have you email please i want to speak with you?

  • @geromedragon2

    pm sent ^^

  • His opponent isn't so strong. This would be more interesting to see someone master strength play against Carlsen 9:1 time odds, I think.

  • Comment removed

  • @civi5sc2 Clearly my statement was not a challenge to your damaged ego. It was merely a remark upon the actual interestingness of the game.

  • look at 35 seconds at the time difference on the clock

  • Congrats! You made Magnus work a whole 17 seconds to make you quit :0)

  • 2800 player with 1 min versus a 1500 player with is way to easy.....would only be impressed if he maneged to take a piss during the game ;-)

  • haha while the other guy is thinking, magnus is watching the others games :P lol

  • schach-brett.de

  • yeah but the opponent is an asshole

  • would love to see Jake Barnet play chess with mangus.. he might not win but it would open up a whole new dimension in .. intellectual strategy.

  • lol! what a patzer!

  • he does'nt even think on his opponent's time!

  • I have 1850 elo in Blitz and I bet he would win me with only 30 sec XD

  • real fast

  • @indrasblade77 Bobby fisher is the best chess player of all time..

  • So if I have 13 ELO would he only get 2 seconds?

  • him vs bobby fisher who would win?

  • @jhonjay11 Carlsen in good form with good focus would beat fischer. Kasparov is better than fischer (he's the greatest ever) so it's harder to beat him but Magnus is getting there Kasparov was 2851 Magnus still has a little bit to go. Magnus suffers from a slight lack of work ethic and focus, this is evidenced by his recent form. Kaspy tried to help him by coaching him, hopefully he'll get back on track.

  • i wouldn't be able to concentrate with all the people talking and clicking

  • Неравный бой. гроссмейстер Карлсен играет против Топалова,Ананда, Леко.......а здесь другой уровень

  • And I thought people in my chess club were good blitz players...

  • but he is not looking at the board when the opponent is playing or thinking about his moves..this kid could be the next kasparov or the late bobby fischer

  • @theonlywaytofun he already is, he is ranked 1 in world at 20..

  • THIS CHILD WOULD NEVER AGAIN PLAY CHESS

  • @KRISYSable LOL ROFL

  • while growing he is being like kasparow isnt he?

  • ... white had the chance to play f6 and lock up the position for a bit longer... not smart to open up the position when you have a fide 2800 in front of you with a minute on his clock...

  • The players get the time becouse of his Elo. For example if both players have 2.000 ELO, both players get 5 min. But if somebody has 1500 and his opponent has 2600 the time is splitted in 9:1 min.

  • @justone888 do you know how many minutes the famous Carlson vs. Kasparov was

  • @1KevinsFamousChili1 which one do you mean?

  • @sauskeuchiwa the one where carlson was going for his Grand Master title and he drew to Kasperov

  • @justone888 elo?

  • @justone888 what's ELO?

  • @iHateMyLifeGr

one of the ways people are rated in chess.

  • @GCLU I know but... how do they get these ELO's? what can increase or decrease it?

  • @iHateMyLifeGr

Tournaments are used for elo ratings. ELO is more of a average performance rating so it really changes based on your other ratings. You would need either a USCF (if you are from the United States) or FIDE (or possibly something else for your country) to have an official offline rating in chess.

  • @GCLU Aha I get it now, thanks.

  • @justone888 That's a really dumb way to compsensate for skill level imo. The worse player can just play super defensive cant he?

  • @justone888 that seems a little ridiculous, i'd expect for ar 1500 to hold his own for 1 minute.

  • he thinks on hes opponent time :D

  • @calinutzz91 he also watches others play and figueres ways to win their games...lol...

  • @calinutzz91 No, he watches other games XD.

  • @calinutzz91 but in the begining he thinked really fast x.x

  • @AznAndy562 Well hes memorised nearly every opening move lol

  • @calinutzz91 He relaxes on hes opponents time.

  • @calinutzz91

After a while he doesn't need to think.

  • Does anybody know - what is the exact rule for the time difference?

  • @GamedFreak Carlsen has only one minute to move his pieces for the entire game, while the other player has 9 minutes, 9x as much time to think about his next moves.

  • @GuitarandSoccer140 Thank you, but I know that. My question is, what is the rule in the rulebook? Why is it like that?

  • @GamedFreak I'm not sure if it's any specific rule as opposed to giving the other player an advantage against carlsen since carlsen is the best player in the world.

  • You know he's not serious when the orange juice isn't there.

  • @EGarrett01 he loves his OJ minus the pulp!!!

  • Exemple sauvage! Le temps est une variable que l'on travaille tous, jamais assez....

  • This is just insulting to the boy he played, forced to be humiliated, destroy his confidence. This is poor

  • @Cagebreaker21 You're just jealous you're not amongst the Chess elite. Do you honestly think that kid played against him with the expectation to win??

  • @EpiphoneArchtopLover How did you get I was jealous from what I said? The kid probably didn't know if she was supposed to win or not, she trusts that people in authority will nurture her talent and not destroy it by making her play people like carlsen. You dolt

  • @Cagebreaker21 It's obvious you're jealous when you say "This is poor".

  • @EpiphoneArchtopLover This is poor form ye what sounds jealous about that. I love watching carlsen play, you just can't form a good argument

  • @Cagebreaker21 It sounds jealous because this is brilliant form from Carlsen.

  • @Cagebreaker21

lmfao u are a dumbass. if this kid played this game expecting to win against the worlds number one the kid is a total retard and deserves humiliation

  • love that h spends more time watching the table next to him than his board. but comman he plays against kids, and he is the best player inn the world. and might be one of the greatest of all time inn some years
