Awesome. Really helpful. I have an '06 Civic and the front, driver's side headlight just finally burnt out. First light to go out on that thing in five years, so I had no idea what I was doing. Plus, I know f*ck all about cars anyway. Got in there, changed it without a problem. Thanks.
thanks for the video. changed the headlights on my ladys civic 2000 cx. way too crowded in that thing. thank god im on the smaller side because my dad and brother could not get their hands in there.
that spring/pin holding the light in place took me about 10-15 minutes to put back in place because of how warped it was. none the less, the video was helpful. watched it once and went to work. many thanks.
today i was changing bulbs on my honda , One side was easy but on another one connector was stuck. I cant disconnect it from bulb.. i dunno what to do now. I was so pissed..
Well you sure get to the point! Headlamp! No messing about like the guy with the Red 93 Civic! He removes the whole headlamp and then the blinker assembly just to change the headlamp bulbs?!
So great job!
Had a go at changing my last bulb: difficult, as not good with my right hand just now but still got the job done!
I checked in here to see how you guys do it & remind myself If I got the right fitting for my Civic and these new Xenon bulbs. Hope they last as I don't want to repeat this!
When he does the driver's side light it looks kind of like hes taking one of the power steering hoses off. DO NOT DO THIS. He's just removing the reservoir from it's mount so he can move it slightly out of the way.
Thanks for the reply and annotation to the vid. It's a bit different on my car.
I hate how difficult they make it to change anything on Japanese cars. On a Taurus, I changed the entire headlight assembly by turning 2-3 screws that a person in a wheelchair can reach... In a Yaris I need to remove bumpers and almost jack the engine out to remove an 'effin' bulb! Love the Yaris otherwise, haha.
ya most older hondas are missing wheel well plastic anyways.lol so ya. mine are missing. and thats actually how i have done it. its a easier way. but probably not the proper procedure.haha
just go in your front wheel well and remove the plastic. thats how you can get to the signal. etc. its easier then taking the bumper off and removing the headlight.
