It's just not accurate to describe the beliefs of a small percentage of religious people as a "religious war". Even when some people's beliefs may run counter to scientific evidence, they are usually not opposed to science, much less at war with it. And actually, it is often atheist leaning governments (China, USSR, N. Korea) who spurn science and lag behind in advancements.

It's just not accurate to describe the beliefs of a small percentage of religious people as a "religious war". Even when some people's beliefs may run counter to scientific evidence, they are usually not opposed to science, much less at war with it. And actually, it is often atheist leaning governments (China, USSR, N. Korea) who spurn science and lag behind in advancements.

I don't see communist governments (communism doesn't represent atheism) as anti-science though the Soviet support of Lysenkoism rather than Darwinian Evolution was a disaster. also if he claims that its ok for him to criticize RRS then why not criticize him
also I don't look to the RRS for inspiration, but I wont let stupidity like this fly because I dont think they deserve this shit
