(prone) I think gives the game a more realistic feel also makes it much harder and pleasureful to kill those noobs that loves to hide far away and camp, i feel theres nothing wrong with sniping but when your in a squad and you prone so far away from the battle it gets very annoying to other teammates. I think there should be a way we can vote to kick an annoying teammate out of the squad, in order for that to happen all teammates must vote!!! PS if you wanna prone stay out of squads!
After Cod Blackops came out I watched some videos, there is way to much swearing and gore, Im hoping that either Call of duty will change how the gameplay is progressing, or die out, Battlefield Bad Company 2, what Ive seen of it on videos is good, especially blowing stuff up! CoD4 is alright, though after a while it gets repetitive, its interesting that you need to change classes depending upon Hardcore/FFA/Team deathmatch.... Im hoping to Get Battlefield BC2 myself!

Battlefield on the other hand relies on team play, if your team suck you will inevitably suck, because its not a run and gun game you have to rely on ally tanks and air support to win {ie: gunships and UAV for tagging targets on the map } . thats also why a lot of CoD players suck in Battlefield
Hope BF3 has prone, custom1zable weapons (to a po1nt), custom1zable characters, and larger lobb1es. THat be1ng sa1d, 1f 1t has none of these th1ngs 1 w1ll st1ll probably be pleased.

Geez dude Im gonna need an X6 core processor to run this game over 60fps. As of now I get 18-22 fps on bad company 2 with x2 amd 3.0ghz, 3gb 800, 9800GT. Bad company 2 requires x4 processors anyway. I also heard that battlefield 3 does not sopport Direct x 9 (for pcs I think). I wounder what this game would look like on ps3 and 360 lol.
Guys, I just found out that it was confirmed that Battlefield 3 will not be supported by Windows XP. A lot of gamers I know have XP. I'm so cheap, I don't wanna upgrade to 7. :P

@keneastway no, BC2 was run on a slightly upgraded version of frostbite 1, like frostbite v1.5 or something. BF3 is the first game to run frostbite 3, which they claim is specially designed for PC.

@Stealthgato I don't agree.. Battlefield has been my favorite game right since 1942 came out, and i think Bc2 is without doubt a worthy game in the Battlefield series. The Frostbite engine bringing so much new shit into the game, i just can't stop playing it, every round is a completely new game and situation. @naujified the point is a sandbox is the most fun kind of game. so the demo alone suffices as enough entertainment for me. i've played full version and always gone back to demo. there are so many mods for it, i have no reason to play anything else

Hey so its Dec. 19 and i get the game for xbox 360 on Dec 20. The new vietnam thing comes out on the 21 ( of course :/ ) and i was wondering is it just an expansion pack i can download off my xbox? or do i need to go to a store and buy it? Also im wondering if i even need to get the ultimate edition or just stick with the regular BFBC2 edition. @TaKzish Ultimate edition includes all the current DLC (not Vietnam). So you get; all 4 Specact classes and Onslaught mode (co-op game variant). May as well get it if its the same price. The Vietnam expansion is downloaded off the Xbox live marketplace or from the in game store and it will cost 1200 Microsoft Points. In my opinion the Vietnam add-on looks amazing, it has gotten very good reviews and some reviewers claimed it could be a stand alone game, so it is worth getting.

@TaKzish Well even if you do get the ultimate edition the downloads will not be compulsory, you'll have the option to download them or not. If you don't have enough space on the 4GB hard drive you can always use a memory stick (pen drive) for extra space. You can use up to a 16GB memory stick, plugged into the front USB ports on the Xbox.

Call of duty Black ops : Decent Single player compared to MW2 a Decent mutiplayer compared to Mw2 Zombies rock compared to spec ops
Battlefield Bad company 2/Medal of honor single player compared to Cod Awesome Mutiplayer compared to Cod AWESOME SAUCE and zombies/spec ops compared to anything on bb2/moh sucks.

Geez dude Im gonna need an X6 core processor to run this game over 60fps. As of now I get 18-22 fps on bad company 2 with x2 amd 3.0ghz, 3gb 800, 9800GT. Bad company 2 requires x4 processors anyway. I also heard that battlefield 3 does not sopport Direct x 9 (for pcs I think). I wounder what this game would look like on ps3 and 360 lol.

Guys, I just found out that it was confirmed that Battlefield 3 will not be supported by Windows XP. A lot of gamers I know have XP. I'm so cheap, I don't wanna upgrade to 7. :P

Man, I'm tired of Call of Duty, it's so over-hyped. All my friends play it, therefore I'm always dragged into playing that shitty game as well. Then they tell ME that Battlefield sucks, just because it's too complicated for THEM. Whatever, once Battlefield 3 comes out Call of Duty will be destroyed.

I hope they add ziplines, the rope thing so you can descend from helicopters without parachute, entering hook so you can repel down the building, anti personell mines, more vegetation, prone mode, different combat suits, for example more camouflaged suit or such, Anyone else who got anything else to add, please reply on this comment or send a message!

i honestly hope that you cant destroy entire buildings in Battlefield 3. you couldn't do it in 2 or 2142 or MC or Vietnam so i don't think you should be able to do it 3, it would really ruin the experience, but thats just me cause I don't want another bad company experience (bad company couldn't even touch the originals anyway)

@Maximalnoob Yea but it will be upgraded. BC2 was run on frostbite 2.0. Battlefield 3 will be run on frostbite 3.0. So I can't wait to see what 3.0 has in store for us.

@keneastway no, BC2 was run on a slightly upgraded version of frostbite 1, like frostbite v1.5 or something. BF3 is the first game to run frostbite 3, which they claim is specially designed for PC.

@VexorxStudios I don't know where you're getting Frostbite 3 from.. It's actually Frostbite 2 that BF3 is running on, both on consoles and PCThe only difference is that PC will be using DX11 and all it's features.

@Stealthgato I don't agree.. Battlefield has been my favorite game right since 1942 came out, and i think Bc2 is without doubt a worthy game in the Battlefield series. The Frostbite engine bringing so much new shit into the game, i just can't stop playing it, every round is a completely new game and situation. Even though it has a lot of bugs, it's a perfect games in many aspects if you ask me.

@naujified the point is a sandbox is the most fun kind of game. so the demo alone suffices as enough entertainment for me. i've played full version and always gone back to demo. there are so many mods for it, i have no reason to play anything else
what i was really highlighting though is that EA recognizes this facet of sandbox engines which is why i belive they havent released a BF3 game yet and why despite their stance on being mod friendly, more freedom would make future games pointless w/

its already bad enough all FPS are the same. I personally think FPS have gone downhill since perfect dark (quake was shit, unreal was shit) tactical gameplay mechanics was the last time FPS did anything right

Hey so its Dec. 19 and i get the game for xbox 360 on Dec 20. The new vietnam thing comes out on the 21 ( of course :/ ) and i was wondering is it just an expansion pack i can download off my xbox? or do i need to go to a store and buy it? Also im wondering if i even need to get the ultimate edition or just stick with the regular BFBC2 edition. @TaKzish Ultimate edition includes all the current DLC (not Vietnam). So you get; all 4 Specact classes and Onslaught mode (co-op game variant). May as well get it if its the same price. The Vietnam expansion is downloaded off the Xbox live marketplace or from the in game store and it will cost 1200 Microsoft Points. In my opinion the Vietnam add-on looks amazing, it has gotten very good reviews and some reviewers claimed it could be a stand alone game, so it is worth getting.

@TaKzish Well even if you do get the ultimate edition the downloads will not be compulsory, you'll have the option to download them or not. If you don't have enough space on the 4GB hard drive you can always use a memory stick (pen drive) for extra space. You can use up to a 16GB memory stick, plugged into the front USB ports on the Xbox.
