Funny thing to watch this.First of all, they play very good.Second,i bet there are less then 5% gypsies in this orchestra,leading violin player isnt gypsy,nor the cimbalo player.Third,this czardas is Italian composition not Hungarian i and find many people play this much better then this so called Gypsy orchestra from Hungary that are mostly not gypsies.For the end-Hungarians were the one of greatest haters of gypsies in WWII and now they have this so called Gypsy orchestra without gypsies-FUNNY

Sve te stravicne zlocine koje ste pocinili protiv cigana, srba i jevreja u logorima, nije cudo da ti je samo WW2 na umu. Moj deda je preziveo te stravicne logore, a ja sam odrastao sa ciganima, a ti i nemas pojma kako izgledaju cigani jer ste sve vase cigane potamanili u ww2. Sama cinjenica da je pre ww2 u Hrvatskoj zivelo 83.000 roma a nakon ww2 samo 23 govori da ti je stvarno mesto tamo.

Ja sam samo gledao cardas i slucajno naletao na ovaj plagijat koji nema veze ni sa Madjarskom niti sa cardasom, jer ovo je, da ponovim, Italijanski kompozitor Vitorio Monti komponovao, te sama kompozicija nikakve veze nema sa Madjarskom kulturom, niti po zvuku, ritmu, melodici i harmoniji ima ikakve veze sa cardasom. Najveci je vrhunac da ovu kompoziciju izvodi orkestar navodnih "Cigana" i to pod nazivom koji je Romima uvredjujuc!

Sta se tice Montia on je puno toga sebi posudil iz razlicitih narodnih melosa Istocne Evrope. Danas Cigane vise bas nije briga sta ih zoves, a u Engleskoj cu cak i snimili seriju dokumentaraca pod naslovom My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding.

I really like the gypsy orchestra playing it, but I dislike the fact that the soloist plays almost the entire music *except for the fast parts* full of variations and ornamentations, at the end of every melodic line and it completely breaks the fluency of the music, I don't like it.

Maybe he's showing off his technique but doing that on the entire music is anoying.

@seisouso - what you describe, the staggered way of presenting a composition - well, its not a bug, its a feature :) The "primás" tells the story of the music in his solo performance, with the orchestra backing him up and sort of giving a framework for his story. Of course, in the solo play there is a lot of showing off in talent and approach to a particular musical piece, but from a gipsy with an ego you cannot really expect anything less.
