  • Barenboim: "I don't need any page turners, I got this guys."

  • While it is good to see three excellent musicians play this piece, I do much prefer the 1968 version by Barry Tuckwell, Itzhak Perlman and Vladimir Ashkenazy, which goes with real pace and excitement.

  • Love, love, love!! :D :D Brahms is amaaaazing!!

  • Great performance.

  • Clevenger is technically flawlless but I find his playing too restrained. Compare this recording with Javier Bonet's on the natural horn and a huge difference in energy and excitement will be noticed.

  • This is a very odd performance--not only slow, but bulbous and overweight.

    Unlike @fatarae--I'm SURE I don't like this!

  • I saw the three of them do this live in Los Angeles. It was very exciting.

  • GREAT PERFORMANCE !...aaand

    NO COMPLAINTS ! :D

Beautiful ..Bold music of Johannes Brahms :-)

What a shame..I couldn't hear it louder on my laptop..

    Thanks always,Nodame2006 !

  • i agree fatarae. Great piece, but I'm not srue this is the best interpretation. Perlan is too light, he needs to be a bit heaver to blend with the horn. And he, and esepcially barenboim, cover up clevenger. I think the producers over compensated for the normal issue (the horn covering the violin).

  • WOW!

  • This is such a great piece. I'm not sure if I really like their rendition.

  • Amazing =) they have such a marvolus sound =D
