Not to mention people of the world, MJ's fadeaway at his 5th nba season is by far better than Kobe career or best season! And you know KObe has the best fadeaway in the game today. Therefore MJ is the best fadeaway in HISTORY! pERIOD
lol...your basing your opinion on a unorthodox and fundamentally unsound shot?! Jordan is Jordan and Kobe is Kobe in their respective eras....there's not comparison
look at the move at 4:33...nobody compares....the guy literally does whatever he wants on the court...he could have went left around that screen..but said...screw it...ill just do a ali 2 step and sink a jumper
I love 3:35, after MJ makes that fantastic layup he gets hi5's from everybody but Pippen who was at halfcourt, they look at each other and do that clap, lol funny stuff.
Haha! I noticed that too! Its crazy but they started doing that a lot during that part of that season. They also do it in the Orlando, San Antonio, Charlotte and Lakers game from around that time.
If you honestly believed that, then there are about 100 other Jordan games on youtube that you should watch to further convince yourself that they're not close. Aside from SPMJ's games, check out hoopsencyclopedia, starks23, joleroke, blackadam20, korone79, mlynch07, ForEmily23, michalus, jxn23, det916, medestinier...the list goes on and on.
Great edit. There's never a zone like MJ's. If he missed, it was shocking. Check out MJ's use of the step hop. That move is basically dead today. Well, you need MJ's body coordination and legs to use it effectively as the way he did so with that insane hop-dunk at the end.
Jordan had the best hop step in history. He was so versatile ith it -- he could take big ones, smal ones, sideways ones; he used it on ayups, dunks, jumpers, post-ups, you name it. No other player is even close in that regard -- even ones supposedly "more skilled" than Jordan, if you get my drift lol. In fact, you rarely see these other "super skilled" players even use the hop step. I'll tell you another underrated/unknown aspect of Jordan's game in the next post.
An overlooked aspect of Jordan's game is how he would ALWAYS have perfect footwork on the catch so as to put himself in position to score immediately. You can see this in several videos on youtube (vs. Sonics, vs. Detroit) where he catches passes on the break, but sets himself up for the catch beforehand by taking a quick hopstep (not a normal short hopstep, but a super quick one) or measuring his steps. I wish we could post links to videos here so I could demonstrate. Realy underappreciated.
You're right. MJ is the greatest player who can really elevate quickly. Making the defender look as if he did'nt jump at all even though in reality that's the best the defender could do.
thanks for this game and the others as well. looking forward to more from you. nobody scored so much in the flow of the game and as effortlessly as mike. thanks again
Great great upload SPMJ, man the late 80's were great with MJ reachin his athletic prime, u couldnt ask for anything better. Loved those days. That fake on Mugs was NASTYY
thanks. great rare upload. that ball fake on mugsy is sick. Looked like Mike is playing around & wasn't that serious. some wild scouped layup attempts. also shows MJ wasn't aiming for 50 pts night against new franchise Hornets then. Still ends up with 45 pts so effortlessly. Could have scored 60 pts had he been less playful.
Watch right as the play opens up at 4:29 as Jordan comes around the screen. He gives so many little jukes and fakes so quickly, it looks like he's dancing out there. Just cat-like quickness that's hard to see if you're not looking. Nice upload, SPMJ. That one handed fake pass to lose Mugsy is priceless lol.

When you apply that being less playful and more serious will help you perform better, that's actually NOT true.
If you want to perform better you need a balance of both, not completely one or the other.
