@RiversOfGore1 Bolt on necks have better pick attack when compared to say a neck through or set neck construction. Since they resonate less noise each pick is more clear and distinguished.
If anyone's interested I slowed the video down to compare what he plays fast to what he shows us he's playing slow. Played slow he plays a repeating 15 note pattern, but fast its only a 12 note pattern with a 6/8 feel.
So no, you won't be able to play it if you try and speed up what he shows you slow.
@soraomnislash5 That depends on your definition of decent. As a Gibson owner with guitars in that "decent" price range I can vouch that a PRS in the same price range wins in terms of consistent tone and quality. You can find a decent Gibson in the 2,300 range, but be prepared to look long and hard while playing a lot of duds. I've also played a good amount of historic line Les Pauls.... funny thing is that even in the 4 to 6k price range you can still find bloated toneless LPs from Gibson.

Near perfect technique as always... the only flaw i see (personally) in your technique is fast alternate picking from the elbow - whole forearm stiff - while in slo-mo a more (imho better) wrist/RH-finger based approach.
Any classical orchestra player will tell you that if you practice for speed/accuracy, you should do the SAME MOVES, the SAME WAY slow, THEN build up speed.
...anyway, enough seconds wasted on this little detail. This is one awesome F#h.min. lick here. As always, rawk awn!!!

If I hoped in my car and held my fingers out the window and had the fretboard attached and nailed to the street I'd never be able to play that. Made it look to easy. Correction Rusty, what that was, was a SHITTY C# Phrygian Minor lick. haha anyways, Rusty is cool as hell, and I'm always impressed by his technique. This is up there with the Chris Broderick Betcha Can't Play This in my books.

@newtman123 Why in hell would u play that harmony or melody that quick? It sounds horrible,alle white noise.It needed a new key or bass...The bass would be best for that quickness.The strings are thicker.
