  • just buy a motorcycle

  • If he works 230 days a year and only saves $600, he'd be saving $10 per hour of extra time he spends in his car. My time is more valuable than that.

  • My car gets 7MPG no matter what I do. lol

  • Cute News Lady

  • i'd better ride a horse with $ 200 monthly earn and $ 6.4 gas price per gallon...

  • 0:56 "oops, almost forgot to brake. I'm taking this hypermiling too seriously"

  • you forget to said is a hybrid

  • Did you know that if you add 2 cups of sugar to your oil it will improve your gas milage by 100% ?? This is because most japanese and american cars have a faulty diabetic converter after being driven only 700 miles on low octane fuel. This trick works every time and is gaurenteed to make the engine seize, to have this problem, follow the directions !!

  • I Drive a 1998 Buick Regal GS and by doing things like staying under 2000 RPM when accelerating and Coasting whenever possible for as long as possible. I have gotten a personal record of 36.2mpg when the EPA says I can only get 16mpg. On average I get 27mpg to about 30mpg per tank IN THE CITY!!!!

  • @stephenBquick you're retarded..read your generic buick's owners manual ...it will give a broad range of what most drivers will get according to driving habits....EPA = an independent federal agency established to coordinate programs aimed at reducing pollution and protecting the environment.

  • @stephenBquick top 3 reasons you drive a buick regal...is because you're poor...you dont have a job...and you spend all day putting up dumb videos online..instead of getting a job or a gf...LOL

  • @coandcaiv And what are the reasons why you stalk me? No job? No GF? No life? If your going to bash me for being a hypermiling driver, i will be more than happy to pull the damn supercharger on your ass and smoke your ass in a race. I got a faster, more reliable, and a more practical car then u so u have no reason to bitch, fuck off.

  • Hypermiling works, but not everybody has a hybrid. I'd love to increase my car's current 22mpg into 40+ but the cars we have available here in US is not as small or as efficient as in Europe. Only fuel sippers I know is Jetta TDI or Toyota Prius. In europe, there are gozillion small, fun to drive fuel sippers exist. especially in diesel form. I can't only count few diesel sedans in US for sale.

  • looks like this would cause hypertailgating

  • My main car is a Honda Insight, my other car is an '01 Z28 Camaro. Using similar techniques and attitudes as Dan, I'm able to achieve >35MPG in a car with a 5.7L V8 engine! So do you still think hypermiling is stupid?

  • 80.5 not 85 duh

  • @survivorsmiraculous LOL, I saw that too

  • i drive a 95 3.8l mustang 5 speed have not rev'd it past 1800 rpm once gas rose to 4$ a gall get 30 city and 35+ mpg highway doing 55.
