  • i hear some video say that their gaming pc from Ibuypower is not shipping for like a week or 2 weeks.

and when it comes on a month, some guy said that IBUYPOWER didnt ship at all. so they demand a full refund.

its up to you if you want to buy the IBUYPOWER. US.

its about customize the computer but also talk about the shipping date.

  • They are Legit

  • Don't buy from Ibuypower they consistently gets bad reviews for all the broken computers they ship out. If you don't believe me type in Ibuypower reviews in google, and go through it. Try Ironsidecomputers(dot)com instead. Those guys consistently do a great job.

  • @BIadeDragon agreed, ironside is definitely the better option.

  • @BIadeDragon pics or did not happen

  • @BIadeDragon I agree, I'm buying a gaming pc from ironside, and they're support is crazy awesome, plu, they don't "limit" you to whats on the website! They're def. the best!

  • @theS3Vtimentals have you received your computer from ironside yet? if you have, did it show up intact, no problems, and ran fine? i'm very interested in ironside, but am hesitant because they aren't a very big company.

  • I've had a comp from them for over 5 years...very nice...lol

  • @sonoftaz haha you probably know nothing about computers...

  • @Crysis482 are u out of your mind?? The 590 or the 6990 will DESTROY the 5970 easily even the 580 beats the 5970 in some games.

  • Talking about being rude...I buy power technical support tells me I have to load the operating system onto the other hard drives to do multilayer video editing has got to be another way

  • I currently have a IBuyPower WA500D3 system from IBuyPower. Personally I would build your own PC. I'm sure there's a lot of good and bad reviews about this company. However my IBuyPower PC hasn't been having any issues. Except the wireless keyboard and mouse which are cheapy made.

  • ibuypower was bad at first from what ive heard, but now they do things right, got mine for christmas, (dont get cable management or rush service, rush doesnt do shit, and they set up the cable management so you can do it easily)

  • how am i meant to build my own pc if i dont know how

  • Just build your own computer you save at least a couple hundred.

  • So guys whats the conclusion? Wheres the best place to get a custom built PC?????

  • try digital storm, its pretty affordable and their mad neat with their wiring.

  • Affordable my foot, I can't believe the prices they want for a PC. If you want affordable, build your own. It saves you money, and you can buy the parts one at a time as you get the money. And then you can have fun building it. Atleast when you build a PC you have the security of knowing what goes into your system.

  • IBUYPOWER sucks

    Go Alienware or CyberpowerPC

  • @mrSqueakyRAT Cyberpower is a sister-site of IBP, they are one and the same, ups. As for alienware, yay for massive markup and 90lb machines?

  • I would rather pay 800-1,200$ to build a gaming rig myself instead of paying 2,000$ for a pc that has the same specs but is pre-built. Building a rig yourself can save you 100's of dollars.

  • @Crysis482 They actually have good prices, a decent gaming computer will run you anywhere between 600 and 800, more if the OS isn't included. From what I've seen IBP sells good computers for a damn good price.

  • I would rather have the security of knowing what is put into my system. I've heard a few good storys about them, but the computer I want costs several hundred more on IBP, but I could get it for a lot less buying the parts seperatly on TigerDirect or Newegg.

  • @Crysis482 Yea I get that, but a friend of mine did the best of both worlds. He went on IBP and bought a custom built computer that already ran Crysis 2 at max settings, but he has already upgraded his processor, video card, etc. I'm actually looking at one right now for $600 that has everything I need. Really it's between spending the extra money and knowing that if they mess up, they have to fix it no charge, or doing it yourself. It also comes down to just plain having the time to do so.

  • I have to agree with you there, Some people don't have as much time on there hands to do things like build a computer. And I'm glad you're not like a lot of people on here and start up an argument for no reason at all.

By the way, if you're willing to pay the price, buy the PC without any Graphics card, then save up and buy an AMD Radeon 5970 Graphics card. It is the best graphics card on the market, not even the new Nvidia 590 or Radeon 6990 can outmatch it.

  • @Crysis482 Agreed completely, only problem for a lot of people, it's not willing to pay the price, it's if you can pay the price.

  • cmplive how was it

  • Make your choice, But I spent $4000 on a IBuyPower and there must be a leak in their building because they cant make a computer worth shit.

  • it is awsome. you should get get it.

  • i had mine for 2 month and the graphic card blew up

  • I bought my current computer from iBuyPower. I spent around $800 on it, give or take. It came pre-assembled. The shipping took around 16 days. (Just a bit over 2 weeks). I booted up, I found no problems. Their customer support was great, no issue or complaints. After 3 months, I have had no issues.

  • ya but falconnorthwest suck monkey APPLE balls and u will get aids when u touch it!! and brother u dont want aids and u will lose all of your friends not like u have any but u wil...l SO GET IBUYPOWER

  • ya but falconnorthwest suck monkey balls and u will get aids when u touch it!! and brother u dont want aids

  • Extremely good

bad reviews are from the shipping issues which are fixed timely in my opinion

  • Ye dude I bought an Ibuypower a year ago, no problems at all. I found all of the bad reviews were made back before 2005 but recently Ibuypower has been really good.

Check out my specs posted on my xfire account if you'd like.

    Xfire: yoocoofoo

  • ibuypower sux trust meh all my parts were fryed when i got my pc and i had to return it and get my money back i tryed cyberpowerpc and they well omg they rule best of the best

  • I have an ibuypower laptop, It's now my favorite computerr<333333 i got the cz-11 touch oh this is froma year ago lmao.

  • @jimbohunter21

I'm recommending a ibuypower laptop for my friend and found it priced really well. The only issue is that he is getting it to India via his cousin so there will be no service back up. i can handle the software and minor hardware issues but not its board. Is it advisably according to you to get it?

  • @rohanraut92 I REALLY don't recommend you getting it. There's a lot of problems they have with there customer service, computers, laptops. I have a cz-11 Ultra touch Laptop i bought 3 months ago from them. Since I've got it, I've had a few problems. Can't name them here because i cant type it all with this little space. I'm not sure on there desktops, or other laptops. I Just recommend you don't buy the cz-11s or even laptops of that matter. Pm Me if you want more exact answers, glad to help!

  • @jimbohunter21 Ok. thank you, I got a similar config of what i wanted in a Toshiba Qosmio x505-q896 for lesser money if bought from amazon..

  • cyberpowerpc is better

  • Ibuypower is prolly the best computer company for what your paying, your paying for whats inside of it not the brand name like alienware

  • U know whats funny if more people nw stuff about computer theys buy a gaming one i mean there are realy good pc that can play video games maxed out on them and arnt gaming names. Many gaming pcs also when become old and get a lot of games on them stop being good for web browsing

  • ibuypower gave me a 762 dollar rig that honestly, has lasted over a year without any problems. plus I can literally max every game on the market. ibuypower ftw

  • syntaktik is dumb you have to check off the free stuff to get it and i ordered one it is fine you can check you progress for you pc it took about 2 and a half weeks to get the pc and i live in canada, its pretty cheap as you saw already. you prbably already havea pc now but just thought id give you a heads up.

  • I know there are mixed reviews of good and bad, but shipping time may be bad but u dont want them to rush the making of the PC right? and the prices....all i can say is AWESOME! i might do an unboxing and a review so watch out for it soon.

  • I just purchased from them so I'm waiting to see.

  • why does it seem like your shirt is sticking up in the back?

  • This vid is almost a year old, did u get a new computer yet?

  • i had an ibuypower computer it broke because of a bad pewer supply getting a nother one though thats way better

  • @dansamazingquickies9 On Ibuypower when customizing the computer, if a part doesn't work with another I will tell you. Is this not always true because I would hate to look up every single part.

  • @dansamazingquickies9 Learn to spell lol

  • i must honestly say they have the best customer service you can find also great products im very happy with them

  • I love it! It is an excellent PC. The only problem I had was that the CD/DVD combo disk drive stopped working 2-3 months after i got it. but they seemed very happy to tell me to bring it in or send it in and replace it anytime. Their customer support is amazing.

  • Just ordered my rig from Ibuypower, so I will know in a month........when it arrive ha!

  • LOL! NERRRRRRRRRD

  • Bought my pc from Newegg and its from IbuyPower. A lot of reviews that were bad were from delivery damage & they had to get RMA #s to ship it back & get it a new one shipped again. I personally love the system I got. Bought it 2 years ago, and I have a2.83 ghz quad core, 8 gb ram, 897 mb Gtx260/wsli capability and 750 gb ram . All for $1600 including shipping & a 22" monitor that I bought from Newegg as well. All from 2 years ago.

  • Regardless of the mixed reviews, I went ahead and gave iBuyPower a try. But NOT from the actual site. I ordered from Newegg Saturday. It shipped yesterday and arrived today. As far as performance, it's pretty awesome so far. The mouse that came with it is shit, but hey...what can you expect for 590 bucks? It's an i937 btw.

  • I find it hard to recommend them. I attempted to use their live help to purchase a PC from them. I told them I had $1500 to spend and needed some recommendations as I was ready to buy today. They seemed rude and very unhelpful. And from what I have been reading this is the norm from them. Only thing I have read good about this company is the prices. Not worth the gamble for me. I'm looking elsewhere.

  • Im in the same position as this guy.... heard lots of mixed reviews. From what ive heard their shipping sucks (super slow) and they cheaply assemble ur computer, BUT u a very powerful pc for a low price.

  • go with cyberpower pc

  • I think really its their shipping that isnt the best but if you live near LA or at least a few hours away I would call the company and order it by phone tell them you will come pick it up. Best choice IMO

  • yeah i am the same, i have heard alot of mixed reviews. i think i might by one son to check it out. They are great for budgets though!

  • i have alienware too CS been very good to me so far, i had a little problem with the motherboard they sent a new MB and a technician to install it next day after i called.

  • ibuypower had great customer service with me and the computers are like glowing tanks +_+. great gaming computers and they look awesome. good selection of accessories to game with. i give ibuypower a 5 chimera 2-F's/5

  • hey dude, im gonna be quite honest with you, im not a big fan, had horrible customer service, got it in one day, had a bad mother board, took a look at it, it was not good, so i called, they said sorry we can tell you how to fix it, never called back, i went with alienware, who is owned by dell, wonderful customer service:)

  • LOL alienware sucks

  • @earlofgoon you must have dropped it or something, or you were just extreamly unlucky that is was DOA

  • @earlofgoon Ailienware is awful they ruined my friends business by erasing all his data by reformatting it after he specifically asked them not to.

  • @Jennetteisawsum Your friend is retarded for not backing up mission critical data.

  • @starknife he wood have if his comp wasnt fucked in the ass well hard drive i guess:)

  • @Jennetteisawsum I have seen this happen with videos being deletd from the hardrive but alienware isnt a business computer its for gaming

  • @Jennetteisawsu your friend is an idiot for not backing up files first.

  • @Jennetteisawsum

not their fault. who the fuck has the life pof his company on his PC and does not make backups? just stupid on his part. he entrusted his whole company to someone else.

  • @Jennetteisawsum that's why you back up your harddrive before returning it to the supplier.

  • Sew AILIENWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @FunnyFlirtTalks Sew eh?

    Go to school.

  • I've heard a lot of mixed feelings about this company myself, and since I'm planning on getting a new system I'm kinda' skeptical about getting it from ibuypower. On the other hand most of the bad reviews given to this company is delays in shipping and bad customer support. I've only seen 1 or 2 reviews about faulty parts. Ofcourse this varies, some people just love the company and gold-stamp it. You just never know untill you try it I guess.

  • I was going to build my own, and turns out my mom spoiled my gift :0. im getting a Gamer Mage D335. which is simular to what i was going to build for $100 cheaper with no mouse or keyboard (thats fine, got loads of those), i hope the one i recieve will be in good shape.

  • I've heard alot of bad shit about this company.

IDK how I feel about them, since I'm like saving up for a new pc.

  • Only my opinion, but I only bought 1 computer in my life, have built the last 12 that ran great for me and friends and never looked back. Im not a hardcore overclocker or gamer, only about four Ive built have had video cards as Ive gotten older and dont game anymore. You can have problems both with pre-builds and self builds, the trick is picking good parts and keeping them cool and clean inside. Good antivirus etc etc -- Lots of hardware from china now, so some defects are inevitable.

  • @yambo59 Also, make sure all parts are compatible, dont go too cheap on power supply, adequate cooling, quality parts. What kind of problems did you have with one you built-?? Will advise if I can- M.

  • you have to build it after you get it i dont think so

  • I built a machine on thier site a year ago, specs on my profile. Im on it now. Honestly the best place for the legitimate concerns regarding issues / quality Is their forums on the site. Otherwise in my personal experience..my delivery box was mangled...not ibuypowers fault...and I didnt order the pro wiring job...wires were a mess. I have since redone it with a new 600w PSU...regardless to say I have had random BSOD since day one...I believe a bad RAM module or HDD..Surprisingly I still dig it.

  • this guy looks like bill gates

  • i jsut bought a new system from ibp. with an 17 920, hd 5870 and 6gb of ram. i hope it comes working.

  • did it?? how do you like it

  • i've had my pc from ibuypower for over a month now....no problems at all. Everything works great, its looks beautiful. IBP has great customer service and i would definitly recommend them.

  • @paintballa175 It's nearly a year from this comment so wanted to ask you some thing.

I'm recommending a ibuypower laptop for my friend and found it priced really well. The only issue is that he is getting it to India via his cousin so there will be no service back up. i can handle the software and minor hardware issues but not its motherboard. Is it advisably according to you to get it?

  • I have hands on customer experience with iBuyPower, and I can say they are brilliant. I bought a top of the line rig, and had a few problems regarding the video card, and after taking it back to their HQ for replacement, they upgraded my video cards. They are great, and you should phone them up and ask if you have any questions.

    kp

  • it's really easy to put together your own computer. i wouldnt go with ibuypower or cyberpower because neither companies test their products and there customer support is crap.( on another note im pretty sure they are the same company because there headquarters are about 5 mins from each other). if you dont plan on building your own i would go with either alienware or digitalstorm there a bit more expensive but their products are tested and will actually work.

  • I wouldn't reccomend them, go with a ASUS. The new ASUS laptops have the relaibility of an Alienware with the power to run anything. Hope this helped.

  • In theory you would think Alienware has good reliability but in all reality take it from me. I have an M15x Laptop from Alienware back in May of 08 and so far I have had to send the system in 5 times due to faulty hardware and faulty repair service.

  • Sorry if you have made your choice wether or not to get the IBP Computer but i'll share my experience with them. When I got my computer it froze 20 seconds into booting up, this was caused by them sending me 4GB of worthless RAM, I called them they fixed it right away (They do have great customer support). Just recently have I been getting pop ups saying that my OS is counterfeit and it will delay me from logging onto my computer, I have not talked to them yet but im sure they will fix it.

  • narunarb u coppy and pasted that from kps vid comment. and they have amazeing customer service if your smart and know what your dooing all you have to do is call up the hq and tell them that you vid card power supply ect went any plz ship me a new one or send in ur machine

  • i got an order from ibuypower on the way and everyone have been awesome to me

  • I was going to buy from ibuypower like you and did some research like you, and found out theres been over 200 BBB complaints towards it and about how much their customer service fails.

Every single person that's bought from Ibuypower has had itleast ONE thing wrong their computer, resorting to you dealing with their horrible customer service.

Just buy&build from newegg. Extremely reliable. Extremely easy.

Hope this helps. Also if you want to buy from them, don't buy their monitors!!

  • well when you sell thousands up on thousands of computers a month you kno some of them might have problems

  • yeah im considering buying a computer from ibuypower. ive heard alienware is the best pre built. ive read that alot of ibuypower and cyber pcs have problems. alienwares a lil bit more but your product is made good.

  • alienware is extremely overpriced. xps is a waste of money

  • well i bought mine from ibp and i had some drivers fail other than that they are cheap and good

  • I would buy & build a computer because its cheaper funner and u can learn some stuff about computers but if ur lazy (like me :P) go with IBuyPower because they are a good company and all i just would rather build mine

  • @TheMIniMacMan WOA WAIT...you have to build the computer you order from ibuypower??? wtf. man i dont know how to do that.

  • then take a computer class at a local community college thats what i did and now i can build a system but i cant do all the hardcore stuff like overclocking :C

  • They are the beat in price and customer service.

  • just get a 350 dollar computer and put a new power supply and graphics card. no reason to by them prebuilt

  • They are garbage it took then 3 weeks to make my pc then 6 more week to ship it out in i had hard drive failure in i look inside case none of cord was hook together i say dont buy from them

Dell XPS is way to go

  • well their shipping is horrid but quality imo is great, service was great, and i mine came faster than expected.

  • dell fails for gaming PC's

  • I have an IBuypower rig, and 4 other people i know have one, thier customer support is amazing.

  • I bought mine from ibp last year....works great, overclocks great.....no problems yet...

I bought the cheapest computer lol...

    AMD X2 5000+ Overclocked to 3.1Ghz

    2GB RAM

nVidia 8600GT overclocked it like crazy :P

    500WATT power supply

  • This guy bought the cheapest, and survived! You got lucky.

  • what games can/do you play on it besides css. my nVidia 6100 plays css so i don't care about it.what about games like crysis cod4?

  • Comment removed

  • NOOOOOOOOO my friend got a pc from there the windows os cd key was wrong

  • de he call them and tell them or did he just buy a new os

  • I just received mine this past monday, and I am extremely impressed. AMD X2 7850 Black Edition, ATI Radieon HD 4850 512 MB, 4 GB RAM, Thermaltake Element G case. bunch of other stuff as well, the price barely broke 800 bucks, and it plays everything lightning fast.

  • Man I love that case!

  • They are very very good computers.

  • sus amına korum tipsiz

  • I would, and dont buy anything computer wise, unless it has a 1 year warranty, or you can get one. Look at the good reviews..but also look at the bad. see what kind of problems people had, see if you may know how to handle them. Good Luck though.

  • ibuypower is crap

  • Thanks for sharing your opinion.

  • @CMPlive Your amazing..

    Thanks for sharing your opinion.

  • @kbtwinkietwins why?

  • @kbtwinkietwins I love how you say its crap but then you dont saw why...... So i think your answer is crap

  • @galaxypa Notice this post is from a year ago. I have better things to do. Just buy an HP or build completely custom. IBuyPower is a rip off. There's my answer.

  • do a custom ibuypower

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • i say not that buy an alien ware 1 they cost about 7 grand but they are reliable and good quality and defo worth it

  • they dont cost 7 grand wtf are you talking about

the best one you cant even upgrade so it costs 7k

god some people are fucking cluless

  • NO NO NO Do not buy from them trust mea

  • iBuyPower is horrible! They never shipped the 2.1 speakers, nor the "free" game. In addition the heat sink fan broke, and the APO shipping was 150$ which took about 2 months. Never buy.

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • @Syntaktik

the heat sink fan breaking, how is that their fault??

  • @Syntaktik IBUYPOWER is a really good website...and to get the free game u had to buy what it said u had to buy to get it....so technically its not "free"

  • @SyntaktikIts common for packages to be shipped wrong or even stolen. How do you know there wasnt a miscommunication somewhere and the components were over looked. Did you call and ask them? Call the shipping company also. FYI ibuypower DOESNT produce the components so a part malfunction or breaking IS NOT ibuypowers fault. Thats because of poor craftsmanship. Considering 2months it took...no doubt there are missing packages! Thats the shipping companies fault. So stop pissing misinfo!

  • @Smokie181 You know, my post was a year old. And yes, we called them, and they told us they sent it, and the shipping company told us it wasn't on the item list so we cant get it back(that part wasn't insured). The fact that it took them nearly a month to ship the computer out was bad enough. But true, the parts aren't their fault, just the terrible customer service.

  • get it is a good site

  • I say it is anice computer but it lacks the fans plus if your going to get a new computer load xp on it games work much better

  • do not buy

  • It says LACK OF ENOUGH FANS.....?

Why would you even consider it

It will literally BLOW UP again

    back to square one...

Unless, of course, you are going to add more fans yourself...

  • yea the plan is to add 2 more case fans (1 in the back and the other on the side)

  • ah

    ok

    I think it's probably a good option then :)

  • Looks like a nice computer, great system specs. I personally haven't bought a whole system off of newegg but for the price, not bad.

  • cyber power is cheaper and better quality . cyber power pc ftw

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • i use iBuyPower and it rocks. Nothing more about it. I haven't had any problems yet and i have had it for a year.

  • Thanks for the info.

  • my dell xps, runs everything, and fsx plays like a dream, for $999.99, it is amazing. i bought it at best buy. it is fast!, amazing, and keeps itself cool very well. and it has the new intel i7 extreme!

  • But can you overclock the Dell XPS?

  • Yes you can overclock the Dell XPS.

(keep a good eye on the temp)!

  • yes you can, but it does not need it beause it is already really fast

  • Really fast NOW, not a year or two from now... That's when overclocking makes a huge difference as far as cost savings. Making a 200 dollar chip perform like a 500 dollar chip and you just saved 300 dollars.

  • I call "shenanigans" =) That i7 X chip itself costs a grand..if you didn't get mixed up I might need a trip to your local store m8 :)

  • I just bought it at best buy, and it was just at a price that i could not believe, so i bought it.

  • ....you rock..I wanna be like that when I grow up..lol. I wonder if they put the wrong tag on it and the checkout person was thinking "wtf:!>?!>! I gotta get one of these today!!" lol

    right on =)

  • they overpice everything on ibuypower

  • hi, i recently bought a pc from ibuypower, about 2 weeks ago. i didnt like it one bit. when i got the pc, it was all dmaged from shipping. They do not know how to pack a computer, they just throw it into a box. the wiring is all caught up in the fans, it is really messy inside of the pc, my video card and motherboard were not working, and they "accidentaly" charged my credit card twice. i do not reccommend them. so i shipped back that computer, and i got a dell studio xps, and it runs great!

  • Thanks for the feedback and personal experience. We appreciate it.

  • no problem, i would love to help you with anything!

    keep up the excellent work!!!!!

  • 199.99 - Core i7 920 107.49 - Antec 900 Case 94.99 - G.Skill 6GB DDR3 1333 RAM 239.99 - eVGA GTX 275 Video Card 294.99 - X58 CrossFire Motherboard 119.99 - 700W PSU OCZ 49.99 - Western Digital Caviar 500GB HDD Newegg TOTAL: 1107.00 IBUYPOWER TOTAL: 1214.00 ========================= Note that these components from Newegg are premium quality. The ones from IBUYPOWER are most likely generic and you may have issues down the road - That's not what you wat.
  • Thanks for the info. We appreciate it.

  • CMPlive,

I just cross referenced with Newegg and the IBUYPOWER website for their default prebuild Core i7 and mine turns out to be cheaper, plus it has much better components. That Chimera case is junk (won't keep your components cool, and isn't layed out the best, Antec 900 is $107. Save money by reusing disc drives. I got you G.Skill 6GB 1333 for $95, IBUYPOWER lists generic and may not have heat spreaders. All of these things you need to consider. I suggest to build your own.

  • just rma the mobo jeez and get a zotac one

  • My Dad have used it and said it wasn't all that bad. I would still stress to build your own and not customize one online - You'll be saving a ton of money. Sure you had two bad experiences, but those were only with the motherboard (could be bad batch).

  • actually i priced out all the parts that are in the ibuypower computer and its 200$ or so cheaper to buy from ibuypower...

  • That doesn't seem right. How are they making money? I guess I'm not understanding.

  • probably buy there parts in mass bulk and get discounts...

  • Well look at the list I gave you. I took some time to figure it out and mine ends up cheaper. I understand contract pricing and that is what they are most likely doing. In any case, I would still build your own. You know how the whole thing was put together, you pick your own reliable components, etc. Don't give up just because your motherboard was DOA and second one started a fire. Choose a different motherboard.

  • Did the camera quality changed?
