I don't think people completely understand what it means to have a stronger economy, or to produce a high GDP, or any of that stuff.....Their products are still lower quality compared to "US"...and so is their customer service. They have more knockoffs of American companies/products than we do them, and they are destroying their environment faster then we are in the process. They have more men than women in their country, and the gender problem is getting worse.....so, yea..who's better?!?!?!

American is not afraid of China. They can spend their way out of anything. Just look at there debts. $14,349,447,641,146.99 and growing. By the way. China does not own most of US debts. China along with Japan, S.Korea, Germay and other countries around the world holds 25%. The other 75% are in the US citizens hand. So, someday your taxes will have to go up. Because the rest of the world can not keep subsidize your wasteful life style or worst, the world will stop buying the US treasury bonds.

I think a better question would be "Are you intimidated by china?" because China is really advanced and powerful but... I don't really see any real fear of being owned by them. No. It shows the U.S. is no longer capable of fixing the world's problems all the time - and it is certainly time for other countries to step up and play that part. Superpower does not always connotate being able to harness the most "nucular" bombs as a war deterrent. It just means having the capability to affect change in any region via all means possible, economic, politically, and militarily.

@parkerjwill I haven't a clue how I came about beyond the creation of Earth, (a creation does not necessarily need a creator) however, to say there is order behind evolution indicates that you've little knowledge of it. Evolution isn't a cut and clean stream from point A to point B. It's essentially the adaption for survival, or the ease of survival. I would recommend you quickly look up the evolution of fruit flies, or another fast breeding creature.

Here's my take on the subject in short: We, the self/soul, evolve through various forms of material bodies provided by nature. Nature has intelligence, otherwise, how could there be so much order and sophistication? Nature is working under direction of a Supreme Soul/Self/Intelligence. That is God.

Planets are less unlikely, galaxies are less as well. It was all very unlikely, but chance works in a way of "it either happens or doesn't", so no, perhaps we do not exist with an 'alien' species because of chance. Instead of thinking what happened because of chance...
