he uses photoshop cs4, and he uses camstasia studio 6 to record it, then he uses windows movie maker or imovie to speed the footage up. :D your welcome.

it's probably photoshop or gimp. photoshop is the king of picture editing but gimp is pretty much a clone of photoshop that is open source (made by people for free legally)
