in my opinion, this was by far the best commandos game in the series EVER!, great music, great historical explanations before a mission, a good strategic engine,

the best.

commandos 3 was stupid, short, and take out the driver! commandos SF a good one, but deserved other name, it couldn´t be part of the commandos series, obviously for the great change of engine and including 3 characters of 8.

@dannympivotking commandos 1 BEL and Beyond the Call of Duty both are good games, except the very first one (BEL) had some glitcy issues and assuming you can get over the uber difficulty of the nazi soldiers, you are going to love it. Consider C:BEL to be Ninja Gaiden like, hardcore, demands perfection nothing else.

you could of made this even faster if you got 4 dead bodies and moved them near the start and then put the bomb next to them, so when all the guys run on they go to see why there is bodies on the ground, when they are all looking/ near the bodies, blow the explosion, and you kill them all.

Yeah your right, but commandos 3 have an awesome Multiplayer, try it on game spy . Anyway, commandos 2 is one of my all time favorite.

i really need to ask you something, since ur a commandos expert, i have destination paris, and once i got that mod for commandos 2 i cant play the original one, why is that? is there any way that i can play destination paris and the original at the same time?

No you cant... Destination Paris is a mod that edit some internal files and other stuff. I suggest you to finish Commandos 2 first and then install the Destination paris mod.

@jreed8721 Extremely true, i miss all the sweet shortcut buttons from 2, making 3 simply not as smooth a gameplay. Played these for years and recently bought another set of discs for both 2 & 3 again. Finished 2 on easy to get started, pretty smooth so ive gotten back to Hard runs. Do people still play this online? I'd love to team up for the fun of it, awesome classic.

the general at the base of the stairs has the keys. oorrrrr, you could just place a barrel at the door and blast the damn thing ;)

Check the cupboard in the house where the officer is and youll find a 2 bombs,place the circular bomb at the end of the road
