The best way to learn the game is to do the tutorial and practice, its pretty easy once you figure it out, everything else is up to you and your timing.

I love this game, the only thing I hate is how alot of the top players will disconnect if they're about to lose so you dont get a win and they dont get a loss. It fuckin pisses me off so much, had this happen to me 5 times today, was about to submit a lvl 70 too and he disconnected...

Well... Hughes is in the defensive sprawl postion with GSP in the offensive sprawl. Since GSP is a wrestler, the cool slam is the result of a properly timed transition reversal. This game is so shitty and unrealistic it's not even funny. The physics are like ps2 physics (compared to fight night round 4). There's a pause between every attack. It's so annoying.

i think it might have something to do with career mode- using him in that gives him a record. or maybe it's the online matches it counts?

i think the record might only count for fights in that fighter's career because- for example if there is a fighter you enjoy beating often in exhibition, you would end up giving him a terrible record with lots of losses, even if they were the best fighter in their weight class.

Personally when it comes to the Light heavy division I like to you Shogun Rua. His stand up is great and he has an equally great ground game to couple that. He's almost like what Anderson Silva is to the middleweight division. I've knocked out my friends so many times with him alone. Second to him would be Rashad Evans. Amazing ground and pound and his boxing skills aren't too shabby.

Well if you've ever played the first couple of games that were put out for X Box, trust me this game is a way better game then they've ever been able to put out. I think it's smart that they didn't try and make it overly complicated by adding all these disciplines and what not. Although I do agree about the knockout thing. It's like everybody in the game has a glass jaw. Hopefully when they make a follow up game they remember to add a health meter so you know when you're in danger of a KO
