I hated this movie. It simply made me sick. It was disturbing. The feeling was just plain wrong. It brought senses of hopelessness, darkness and unrest the entire time I was watching it. But that's what made it good.
You realy can't control Erasorhead to clockwork orenge. Kubrick is always tightly controled, tightly plotted and edited. Eraserhead just drips and explodes all over the place and is totaly sureal. They say that when Orenge first came out a bunch of Kids in the UK dressed like them and did violent crimes. One can't imagine anybody imitating Eraserhead. I'm not sure one even could.
@milascave2 oh sure you could. some kid could stab a baby to death, rip it to pieces and then blame lynch. the real world is far stranger than even this movie.
10:10 Maybe this is off topic, but when someone asks you "Well, what do you know?" how the hell are you supposed to answer that? I find that, as shown in this scene, when talking with men above a certain age, when there's a period of scilence they say something like "What do you know?" or "What do you think?". I can't for the life of me come up with answers to these questions. "I don't know much of anything" is about as good as it gets.
@annonimuz2: Netflix had it available through its streaming service (the only place I've seen). The full movie will leave you feeling empty, which, I suppose, was the intent of it based on what inspired it. It is the most dismal, nightmarish world I have ever seen portrayed in film.
@PhillipNicewaner thank you thank you... its allright if it is that freakish, i am in the mood of watching classical horrors nowadays. if you have some other weitd suggestions tell me, thanks again
The most bizarre film ever made? Well, it's either this or 'A Clockwork Orange' made 5 years earlier. We no longer see nightmarish movies such as these bizarre fantasies any longer, and more's the pity.
@rabsmiff dont get me wrong, a clockwork orange is amazing, and i prefer it to eraserhead even, but seriously its nowhere near as creepy, weird and disturbing as this...
@TheVioletisBlue A Clockwork Orange is like a nightmare for the first 40 minutes or so--but yes, Eraserhead is more sustained, like a bad dream all the way through, so it's more consistent than Clockwork. I'm a lucid dreamer so I know exactly what you mean.

Man; I remember seeing the title to this movie somewhere but I can't quite place my finger on it.
Maybe my mom or dad owns the movie and I remember seeing it from awhile ago.
This is a pretty good movie. I like the alkward silence, the strange people, and the ambient racket.
I need to find the whole thing.

A Clockwork was a fantastic movie, and it was very surreal, but in a different way.
It had more of a science fiction atmosphere, and certainly wasn't disturbing (or as much) as this.
This has a more lucid dream like atmosphere to it, and not a good dream either.
