  • I carried a sense of dread around with me for days after watching this film for the first time.

  • wtf did i just watch? i thought that woman was gonna orgasm lol.

  • great!

  • Delicious!

  • Wow. Just Wow.

I was born in 1978. I'd like to think that this is what my parents were watching the night I was conceived.

  • @zleuth you sick cunt

  • This Masterpiece Works-Even if, it makes You Uncomfortable.

  • My brother won't watch this movie. So I'm going to force him.

  • @CaptainFeltcher Tell your brother to man up and watch one of the most surreal films in the world.

  • @CaptainFeltcher

Give him some acid and make him watch it he'll never be the same.

  • i guess he's a really bad plumber if even the chicken has a leak :P

  • did the chicken have it's monthly period?

  • I hated this movie. It simply made me sick. It was disturbing. The feeling was just plain wrong. It brought senses of hopelessness, darkness and unrest the entire time I was watching it. But that's what made it good.

  • I'm never eating Chicken again.

  • BEST MOVIE EVER.

    LSD

  • This ain't KFC, son.

  • Forgot how great this film is. Watching again soon! Good for playing to your kids instead of reading them a bedtime story.

  • and what is this, supposed make me feel guilty about eating chickens? this movie is just one long nightmare,

  • "She'll be alright in a minute" haha

  • Do I.. just cut them up like regular chickens?

  • On a scale of color, even in black and white. Beautiful.

  • Henry acts exactly how I would be acting if I were in his position.

  • Something tells me I shouldn't be watching this before I go to sleep.

  • even the cuckoos off its nut

  • Since seeing this part, I have never looked at Cornish game hens the same. LOL

  • @tall32guy Everytime we prepare them, we play out this scene in the kitchen. It usually involves alchohol.

  • @itsALLartVideos LMAO! Too funny! Even down to someone playing Grandma sitting in the chair with the cigarette dangling in her mouth? lol

  • Amon Tobin's "Regular Chickens" sample sent me here. Probably the only one to say this lol

  • I can't but wonder what they had for dessert...

  • All those dogs are dead now.

  • @MrEggcake That's a downer. Also you must be a fan of the Simpsons like I am maybe (Marge anyone?)

  • @MrEggcake Yeah at 3:16 i see the puppy wagging his tail. Poor things to be amongst such wackos in the room.

  • i watched and burst out laughing at the dancing chicken part

  • You realy can't control Erasorhead to clockwork orenge. Kubrick is always tightly controled, tightly plotted and edited. Eraserhead just drips and explodes all over the place and is totaly sureal. They say that when Orenge first came out a bunch of Kids in the UK dressed like them and did violent crimes. One can't imagine anybody imitating Eraserhead. I'm not sure one even could.

  • @milascave2 oh sure you could. some kid could stab a baby to death, rip it to pieces and then blame lynch. the real world is far stranger than even this movie.

  • @jwallbanger Yea, but first they would have to get that Erasor hair style which young people find so cool these days.

  • 10:10 Maybe this is off topic, but when someone asks you "Well, what do you know?" how the hell are you supposed to answer that? I find that, as shown in this scene, when talking with men above a certain age, when there's a period of scilence they say something like "What do you know?" or "What do you think?". I can't for the life of me come up with answers to these questions. "I don't know much of anything" is about as good as it gets.

  • i wish i could watch the whole movie. Youtube only have them part by part... does anyone know where i can watch this whole and free?

  • @annonimuz2: Netflix had it available through its streaming service (the only place I've seen). The full movie will leave you feeling empty, which, I suppose, was the intent of it based on what inspired it. It is the most dismal, nightmarish world I have ever seen portrayed in film.

  • @PhillipNicewaner thank you thank you... its allright if it is that freakish, i am in the mood of watching classical horrors nowadays. if you have some other weitd suggestions tell me, thanks again

  • sick movie

  • Honey the chicken is still moving!

  • Man; I remember seeing the title to this movie somewhere but I can't quite place my finger on it.

Maybe my mom or dad owns the movie and I remember seeing it from awhile ago.

This is a pretty good movie. I like the alkward silence, the strange people, and the ambient racket.

I need to find the whole thing.

  • For some odd reason, I really identify with Henry.

  • 11:20

    :'(

    :D

  • I love this movie, but as far as weirdest, 'The Holy Mountain' takes the cake IMO.

  • @JasonWolfeTumblrCom I love Holy Mountain and Santa Sangre.

  • Shame anpbout the subtitles if one only reads english. Oh well.

  • Shame about the subtitles if one only speaks english...

  • the chicken is abit under-cooked :/

  • The most bizarre film ever made? Well, it's either this or 'A Clockwork Orange' made 5 years earlier. We no longer see nightmarish movies such as these bizarre fantasies any longer, and more's the pity.

  • @rabsmiff dont get me wrong, a clockwork orange is amazing, and i prefer it to eraserhead even, but seriously its nowhere near as creepy, weird and disturbing as this...

  • @TheUltimateCondom I agree this is a masterpiece of anti-commercial cinema.

  • @rabsmiff

A Clockwork was a fantastic movie, and it was very surreal, but in a different way.

It had more of a science fiction atmosphere, and certainly wasn't disturbing (or as much) as this.

This has a more lucid dream like atmosphere to it, and not a good dream either.

  • @TheVioletisBlue A Clockwork Orange is like a nightmare for the first 40 minutes or so--but yes, Eraserhead is more sustained, like a bad dream all the way through, so it's more consistent than Clockwork. I'm a lucid dreamer so I know exactly what you mean.

  • @rabsmiff No its Begotten

  • this movie is why I'm a vegetarian. the first time I saw it i almost died laughing.

  • A lesson learned here folks, never buy chickens from Aldi.

  • Grandma is a fucking bawse

  • What a masterpiece of freaking thoughts!!!!!!!

  • HOLY SHIT, I saw this movie when I was like 8 or 9, I've wondered what the hell this scary fucking movie was for YEARS!!!

  • that chicken had some mean ass diarrhea

  • typical dinner with the inlaws

  • Awkward dinner!!!

  • @TheLilla100 che io sappia no

  • ma non è stato mai doppiato in italiano?

  • Chicken: PFFFFT PFFT PFT!

    Lady: HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG!

  • @Year1022 yeah, I bet that's how the script was written

  • Questo non è un film, è un incubo!!

  • "Well Henry, what do you know?"

    "... I don't know much of anything."

  • @mkindig14 i love that line

  • 11:11 the man's smile i had to pause the movie it's so funny
