God I just nostalgia'd all over.. I played this game for hours and hours every day.. Record time for CE was 1:02:19 I don't think I could EVER get that low if I played it now lol. But god in my oppinion this game marked the death of sonic It was truly one of the last AMAZING sonic games :/At least he went out in a blaze of glory My little blue friend keep going fast.

@dravenroughnecks I totally agree, this game was incredible. Clocking 1:02:19 sounds near-impossible (are you sure it was Mission 1?), but I might try some speedruns myself to see what I can do.

A question for anyone else, does collecting rings while on your board at the beginning increase your speed? Because most people do in speedruns of this level.

I remember Sonic Adventure 2 so well. People think it's one of the more embarrassing sonic games, but I disagree.

That shit had it all, it had so many levels and different modes. There was stuff like finding crystal fragments, being sonic and dashing through stuff, awesome boss battles, and robot fighting levels with tails.

Even if that stuff didn't get your dick rock solid, it even had an amazing, and time consuming Chao side game, that relied on the collection of items from the real game.

The requirements to get an A Rank are to get a certain ammount of points, half of those points are from time, the rest are from the stage.

I don't know how many times, but if you look for animals or chaos drives for your chaos enough, you'll get used to it quickly. The first stage is the easiest stage to complete after all.

I sorta wish Modern Sonic in Sonic Generations would perform his air stomp in the same manner as SA2 Sonic's bounce attack (without the bouncing). You know, instead of stomping the ground with just his right (steel) foot, he would hit it with his signature spinning ball form as if he's performing a homing attack against the ground. It would look better and more hedgehog-y that way in my opinion. And it would be a neat tribute to SA2 Sonic.

thats pretty incredeble. and for those of you who are complaining as to y he didnt get an A rank, its because ranks are based on points in sonic and shadow levels. speed will help you get lots of points, bu you can obtain alot of points by doing tricks in the begining, killing robots, killing the gold beetle, and collecting rings. he failed to do all but collect rings, and one can usually collect around 300 rings normally on the level. this is still pretty impressive tho
