Played OB (and still playing) and i am loving it! Sure it has some issues but it still isnt out! This game is not for everyone (same as EvE) it aims at smaller but trust me not so tiny base of players... Now if you will excuse me i am going to pre-order it so i can support developers.

Darkfall is the best, sure AV fucked up bad at release and lost most it's player base by taking so long to fix things but just ask anyone that still plays they are starting to fix things and making PvE good and it has the best PvP for any MMO out and WoW is just gay

I forgot how great a poorly rated and poorly put together mmo like darkfall could be so awesome. with outdated graphics and bland looking environments I should just stop playing all other games and waste my time on darkfall. And I'm playing the beta for Mortal online and had 20 people on my screen and didn't lag or crash. So you need to get a better computer and stop trying to upsell a shitty game like darkfall.

graphics had nothing to do with it. you just rated a game on how poorly it ran cause it lagged for you. So honestly you are the one going on about how crappy it is cause of the graphics. Darkfall runs fine cause darkfall has low end graphics thus not an issue with running it on your computer. And it's not all graphics with me I still play a lot older games cause the gameplay is great.

so in other words you are judging a book by it's cover even though you've heard other people say stuff about it but never tried it yourself. SO you shouldn't knock something until you've tried it. I play the game and it's actually really good if you accept the fact that this mmo has more realism in it then other MMOS. Though magic is used in the game there is a lot more skill involved instead of what gear you are wearing.

1- no chinese fcks images that remembers animes.

2- Exelent grafics - (i cant play a game that ground and armor look like puke)

Races are half orcs, not pure breed, we're gonna have forest elves, w/e the fuck those are and like 4 different human races in Mortal, ones are kinda like romans, the others are like vikings etc..

I'm already discouraged from the game itself because it has Orcs and Elves. No but really, I've had enough with all these MMO's with the same bloody races! I don't know I suppose I'm just going to wait till there's more revealed about the game, but I'm already pretty sour about the Elves...

I really admire Robert E. Howard for making Conan so great, and the man did just fine with Humans! I understand AOC has it's problems, but damn the races feel right.

They're not.

To quote from the combat description on the forums:

"Just spamming LMB won't get you anywhere."

It also has a pretty neat blocking system, but the combat won't be completely like say... Dark Messiah, seeing as they have to face things like connection issues.

Because it's an MMORPG/FPS (The FPS part comes from it being completely in first person :D)

Also, it uses the UT3 engine, so it will probably look awesome.

Disagree. Graphics aren't everything. Developers want alittle challenge in their game. First person makes it harder for ranged attackers to fight since now they have to watch their flanks. Why would you want it to copy off of every other MMO again? Why bother with the game then?

the way mortal is using classes isn't bad. the game is skill-based. you never have to join a class. the devs have even said that certain classes won't effect your abilities at all. it's like learning the blacksmith skills, joining the blacksmith guild, and being officially accredited as a blacksmith so you can display the title.

i'm hoping it will. they've been coding it since 2005 and planning it since 2002. we'll know a bit more here in about two weeks when they're at the leipzig games convention showing mortal. we'll probably get a new trailer, more details, and a better idea of how far along they are. :)
