Wow, that's pretty sad. I have type 1 diabetes, which is not really preventable, but I still mostly liked this song. I wonder if I would have the guts to lay it out like that to someone I wanted to be with me.
But I also think that people with diabetes and people with disabilities generally still deserve to be loved, and not having diabetes is no guarantee of good health- ESPECIALLY since so many people don't even know what they might have.
