And they are about the most interesting diversely challenged people that you will ever meet. So yes you might be weird, but to some people weird is just another way of saying awesome. The book is awesome. The murder wasn't emphasized that much, but the narration itself suffice the satisfaction of the reader. Great book, I must say. And yes, the unexpected twist. The orgy. The perfume. The cannibalism. Everything in the book is explicitly wonderful.

Awesome! Awesome movie! I was so upset when I missed it in the theater. The beautiful music goes perfectly with the scenes. This is one of those rare films that is more than 95% accurate from the book. I'm looking for a website where I can download the soundtrack for free. The P***Bay dosen't have it.

when i look at the film, each time, there is some scenes i want to see again, and again, and again..so, i understand the grenouille's obsession! like him, i would like to catch some perfect scenes and put them for ever, in my brain...It's crual not to have the possibility to do that! so, love is it an obession? No, the movie is in English. And while it's rather creepy in parts, the story and beautiful scenes more than make up for it.

(To be fair, I should warn you about the rather large amount of mass-nudity near the end. Seriously.)

I think it was poetic justice that he was eaten at the end at the very place he was born, where, if not for his screams he would have been eaten regardless...tossed out with the fish..I haven't read the book, my bad, but I will... Could Richis be his dad, is it possible for him to have travelled to where Jean was born, and had an affair with his mother... then in a hidden way, found his way to his dad, and his sister holding the final ingrident, she carrying all the odor since he had none...?

i'm really looking forward to this movie! tom tykwer is the best director ever. love the music, it's so thrilling! but there's one mistake: in the book the girl doesn't scream when she dies.

There's probably going to be more 'variations' but that's to be expected with an adaptation. Like, I doubt they'd go into much detail when he's a hermit on the volcano. I would really like to know who they cast for Laura and her father. Such an awesome book, though :)
