@asimno1 if you don't like it don't commment that simple. p.s the beltane fire festival marked the beginning of summer in the ancient Gaelic festival that's what it standsfore.
How beautiful i would love to go when i'm older, i'm 16 now and plan to travel a lot during collage and even more when i graduate. Greetings from Louisiana my friends! Au revoir!
wow...ive never been to one of the festivals before or even saw it but i imagined it to be in a big green field with trees and everyone dressed and cloaks, kids playling with little toys, carts and the smell of fruit everywhere but this....its more like a social gathering :/
@SteeleHard Well is all steeped in the Celtic Culture now. Hahahahahahahaha. Too bad for racists. They get to watch their white families celebrate the rituals and celebrations of Mother AFRICA!! So they are helping to keep Her alive!!! Bwahahahahhhhaahhahhahahahahahahahah!!!!!!! It's going to happen this year too. 2011, and 2012, and on and on. KNow why cause they have no other culture to look to.
@filmtress Mother Africa? Africa has not the exclusive nature rituals, too many cultures did it, all over the world rituals and beliefs in the nature was celebrated, and still going on. The are ways to be fellow to the celtish roots, but this kind of show are not the rightful way, and have nothing to concern with the way of african beliefs so the nature in Europe is so different to the nature in Africa, maybe we worship the same thing but not in the same way.
@SteeleHard Don't answer so quickly before you know that we as the originals are and were all over the world. Asia, India, Australia, South American, even Europa's first humans were darkskinned peoples. Our continents before the breaking apart was call Gondwanaland. There's maps of it floating around. The original is the black goddess. You're right, we honor the same Mother but in a different way. The Irish took their African Goddess and renamed her Tuawatha De Danaan. Honor Her!
Was there myself, great night as always & a great weekend in Edinburgh. Been going since mid 90's. Fair play to the folk who put in the time and effort to make it happen.

whats the one when they set the viking ship on fire?
Bosnian519 2 years ago
Am not quite sure. I think it's part of a Viking Funeral but there seem to be some festivals where they do that as well.
There are a few Vids on here that show it.
