Hi I'm deciding between Middle Earth and Mesa Court for my freshman year? For some reason I though Middle Earth dorms were bigger and nicer huh. Which Housing has more stuff to do like events, dances, movie nights etc? Please Reply!
@DPCrazyXD Well I live in Mesa, so I know a lot more about Mesa.I would say that I like Mesa better because there is a lot more room and it is more of a park setting, while people say that Middle Earth is more of a city-like setting. The buildings in Middle Earth are like 3 stories and not as pretty, while Mesa has grass and nature. Also, from the dorms I've been in, Mesa dorms are much nicer than Middle Earth dorms..it's kind of a known fact about the dorms (but the food is worse)
@DPCrazyXD Also, there are a lot of things going on in Mesa all the time. Each week you get an email of different things that will be going on in Mesa, like dances or movies. Also, I know that halls in both Mesa and Middle Earth play games against other halls. Hope I helped! :)
@polkadot123789 Thanks so much for your insight! I'll try to take a housing tour so I can get to see both of them and see which one fits with me better. And food is definitely a big factor too lol I appreciate your thoughtful reply XD
oh ok thanks a lot, i really love the campus and i think its a beautiful setting, im not much of a pary person but i just dont like being bored and i love to explore so i guess i would prefer a campus were this a lotof tourist places to visit.... thanks a lot :)
@sunsetglam16 There are things to do for those who actively search them out. If you are a partier and join a sorority/frat, there will be PLENTY for you to do. If your friends like to party and you guys aren't in a frat, you can still go to the parties if you know the right people or go out to some clubs. Also, other people like to get involved in clubs or ASUCI. I would still say though that it seems kind of boring here compared to other campuses because it is a commuter campus...
I'm really excited to start school this fall.

@sunsetglam16 There is nothing to do on the weekends if you don't look. If you don't look for anything NOTHING will find you.
