umm, 1. They said there making Halo 3-ODST only $20 cuase its a ADD-ON 2. People will also buy it to play the extra campaign 3. others will buy it for the Mythic Maps
actually to unlock recon you need ALL the vidmaster achievments. AND they are all not out yet. you actually have to wait until Halo3:ODST/Recon comes ( which is in the fall of 2009, so basically in about a year). cuz thats also tied in with the vidmaster achievments. So i think u have to buy halo 3:Odst/recon to get teh Recon armour for Halo 3
i understand that. you can also get recon now for beating bungie employees in a 2v2 at one of their expos, but it's generally unfair, because they make you play on new maps that aren't released yet. you can also get it by doing something amazing, like the one guy that got 1300+ incinerations on the valentine's day tourney.
The thing that sucks is the fact that ive only ever played a bungie person once and that was like a month or 2 after halo came out and the when they were only planning Recon/ODST... i should so have Recon armon ]=<
i dont think so, but when i did it i got 7 exp in my doubles and i already had 2 exp to start with and i didnt unlock it. but then i played the 7 on 7 playlist and i got teh 7exp and i got the achievement. So my suggestion is to play it safe and just start over by playing the 7 on 7 playlist. Good Luck!

i know how u did it. some one made a custom game to look like a custom game, then right as you shot the pistol the host booted him so it looked like a pistol shell hit and killed him. You guys got the score up in that range to make it look even more realistic. two clues, he shot at nothing, and no person would ever pick up a single pistol and use it when they have other options in matchmaking, not even noobs. so he replaced his assault rifle for the making of this film.
