I have only 18 and I live in Guanajuato México, recently I saw The Little Rascals and I think is the best comedy I have ever seen in my short life, and sincerely Mr. George Mcfarland was to become in my idol, the biggest example to follow, one of the things I now wish more than anything is to know him, although that was always impossible, but hopefully and eventually we get to see somewhere, meanwhile I will follow in his footsteps as a good person, the best

I grew up watching Spanky and the Little Rascals. Loved every show. I just viewed these clips on YuTube for the first time, and I haven't had a good laugh in such a long time. You know, my Dad's baby picture looks just like Spanky when he did his first screen play, his famous words were "I'm bug huntin'!" We used to tease my Dad, he really was even cuter than Spanky. My Dad was born in 1937, he loved the Little Rascals, I watched them growing up and now my neices and nephews watch them! I have every one ever made on cassette. Would love to transfer them to DVD!

Talk about tears - Spanky was my oldest brother and it was one of the greatest guys one could ever meet. Biggest heart you ever saw - loved kids and spent the last part of his life doing celebrity golf tournaments to help kids in need. Whoever did this, thank you so very much. I believe it to be the best Christmas present I will receive this year.

@amandamcfarland I saw Mr. McFarland once, shortly before he passed away. I am a firefighter near where he lived in Texas, and he passed by a fire we had been fighting. When it dawned on me who I was looking at, I threw both arms up and he just grinned this huge grin and nodded to me. That was a very special moment for me. I will always treasure it.

@amandamcfarland I was hoping you could help me w/ the name of the episode(must have been one of Spnky's first - I think he had the same costume as in this video@1:20) where Spanky keeps talking of an "itty bitty monkey". You could see the attraction to him early on. I really liked the "REMARKABLE"episode where Spanky tells the kid "for the love of Pete SAY IT !" We got Cable TV in the mid 70's and always watched these before school. Great memories!

From the inception of the Little Rascals/OUr Gang never has a gang of kids brought more happiness & a sense of what is right & wrong in these shorts by Hal Roach. I watched them in the 50s' till now. They never get stale & there is always something new that you hadn't see before. I've only recenly have been introduced to the Rascals before sound. With/without sound the Rascals will pull a laugh out of any ole Scrooge. These kids were unique in the world and after 80 years they lift us up.
