I hate it when people say 'people arent interested in real music like the beatles'. Most bands are influenced by The Beatles in some way. Oasis were, and Slipknot listen to The Beatles a lot on there tour bus. people may listen to the new age of music but the real music will always be at the heart. so in fact people are listening to real music like the beatles. its kinda like genetics.

Don't get me wrong, it is a great band with great music, but I have not seen one band yet that has overpowered the strength the Beatles, who, to this day, still have a hold over the music world.

No other music group in history will have a greater cultural impact or overall world-wide success as The Beatles. Sometimes, I may even think that the band's decision to split up in 1970 was "unfortunately" necessary at the time because (from my perspective) if it never happened, The Beatles could have eventually fallen into that infamous category of "they're not as good as they were before". Besides, John, Paul, George, & Ringo all went on to have marvelous solo careers. "Fab4" always #1. (8^)
