The Turtles all wear red bandannas in the source material, the original comic books. It was only in the children's cartoons that spun off of it that has nothing to do with the comics that they gave them different colored bandannas and letters on their belts.
You know I have had this idea in my head about a GL and Doctor Who crossover where they have to fight the Daleks and the Manhunters cause they've joined forces somehow...hmmm possible future story idea maybe...after seeing this why not? lol
Yeah... technically Splinter should be dead by this point in time in the Mirage comics. But then... Utroms should also have landed, and all that other stuff. I kind of just chose to ignore Volume 4 for this, or just say that those events happen, but later on.
Hey, since you have the TMNT and Gl existing in the same universe...I was wonderign if you will add another green hero, another 'policeman' if you will. a green hero with a fin: Savage Dragon
I'm not a huge fan of Savage Dragon, but I certainly have all his run-ins with the TMNT. Probably wouldn't include him beyond like a cameo somewhere, sometime.
The Mirage comic book TMNT -- where the TMNT originate from -- that begun in 1983, all 4 Turtles wore four red bandannas. They never wore different colored bandannas or letters on their belts... never. Only the cartoons and kiddy stuff (that have nothing to do with the comics) had the different bandanna colors.
Absolutely not, but that's a common misconception. The Mirage TMNT are for adults. Routinely -- and early into them -- they chop off heads, limbs, and otherwise kill. And swear. And even drink beer often.
Oh yea, I almost forgot about that. Though usually when the Turtles are fighting people like the Foot Clan, we just see the badguys getting stabbed in the gut or something.
awsome! should be less talking and more fighting but its good, make more cross-overs, imagine if splinter turn to a green lantern for a while that would be cool , hope the next episode will be uploaded fast
There is a semi crossover planned for the next League episode, which will be a small teaser for the BIG one to come.. it will be positively... Hell-raising. :) Also, one of the TMNT may stick around... in one form or another.
I just dont like how all the turtles have all the same coler bandanas

(watches the vid) YEA! Splinters alive in this! and for a few seconds I thought you would turn him into a black lantern...(shudders)
Martialartfruituser 2 years ago
I think Splinter would be better utilized as a Blue Lantern actually. lol
OperativeD 2 years ago
Yes he would, but I was going by what was going on in the original comics,

Ah. That makes sense. I always thought the Turtles started with the cartoon.

That was in the early days of Mirage, though. The more recent TMNT comics aren't as graphically violent as they were back in the 1980s.

That's funny, I can remember just a couple of months back we saw Leonardo hack Complete Carnage bloodily in half in Tales of the TMNT.

Big one to come...okay lets see the possibiities here.
JLA/Avegners stunk so this could fix it.
Dragon just killed a dude name Solarman, so it would be cool to see him as a Black lantern.
GUessing it gonna be...Marvel, since that would doth truely rock!
Martialartfruituser 2 years ago
If I bring back anyone from the Turtleverse as a Black Lantern, there is only one candidate in my book... and he has lots of blades and stuff.
neodevilbane 2 years ago
imagines Shredder as a black lantern...shudders
