  • 0 dislikes This fucking song from the awsomeness is ruling this world !!!!!

  • I'm really hoping they play this today at L.A. Rising...

  • Is it really that hard to clap on a beat? xD

  • i think Thoughts of a dying athiest, Citizen Erased and Butterflies and Hurricanes if i had to pick, would be MUSE's 3 Masterpieces, they are epic from start to end perfect in almost everyway

  • Muse makes the best songs in the world for me, but this is #1 by a longshot. My favorite :D

  • for me this song is one of the best that i have ever heard

  • @ace141081 And I've heard I'll I ever need :')

  • This is my favourite Muse song, along with Stockholm Syndrome :D

    5th November, echo arena XD

  • It is incredible and magnificent as a song ends with all that power with such tranquility and peace.. Just wonderful, Muse no comparison ....

  • it really annoys me man this song is easily one of their best they play it at most gigs and yet it gets missed out from everything

was missed out on absolution tour and haarp grr :(

  • it was played on haarp just not recorded

  • thats what i mean there never put in even tho there played ...

  • Out of respect for Dom's dad. He passed away backstage during the song at Glastonbury 04, which is ironically called 'Citizen Erased'. I'm surprised not many people know this.

  • Where did you get this? Dom's dad died shortly after they came off stage. That's why Stockholm Syndrome was left off the Absolution Tour DVD (they ended the gig with it, but the DVD ends with Blackout.)

There wasn't much of a reason given for leaving CE off the DVD, but the best theory is that Take A Bow was played as an instrumental directly after it and they didn't want to release it as it was going to appear on BH&R.

  • Indeed you are right. I was furious when CE wasn't on Haarp. But I do like it how they rarely play it. It serves as a real treat when they do.

  • really? was it during citizen erased?

that's sad, i didnt know it was during the concert.. i thought it was during the stockholm outro..

  • @spaceJamesyehaw it was after the gig.about an hour after

  • @culokristof thats actually wrong, he had a heart attack about an hour after they had finished their set.

  • YES! im so glad to hear that mrogan is playing some synth over the back of the choruses, makes it sound sooooo much better!!!

  • The guitar he uses for this song is actualy second hand

it was build originally for a jazz player but he diddnt want it.

As of yet this guitar is only used for this track but it may make a reappearance on The Resistance

  • How can he play this riff WHILE singing the verse?!?!?!?!?!?! THAT"S SUBLIME!!!!!!!

  • Play the riff alot them you know it very well and sing while:P

  • love japanesegirls, why would you cry if they played it at 2040??

  • dont u imagine why?...i would too

  • This isn't nearly as good as the Le Zenith gig from November 2001.

  • I just love the begining riff.

  • i´m gonna cry when they play this song at 2040, they are going to be a LEGEND

  • i could well do at the outro haha

  • i havent seen that guitar being used live since like,2001/2!

his best guitar, sound wise. i think.

  • He used it during HAARP when he was playing this....it think at least the guitar looks like this one.

  • He only uses this guitar for playing this song only.

  • its a 7 string, instead of a usual 6 string,

the extra string allows him to have that deep sound in the drop tunings for this song

  • again i havent seen it being used, i wasnt at haarp and it wasnt on the dvd, i was just living in the past i suppose lol

  • glastonbury 04...

  • i did say i havent seen it lol! didnt say he hadnt used it since 01/02 to be honest

  • Comment removed

  • i know? :S

  • wow....

  • 3:59 gave me goosebumps... amazing...

  • are those the strings from the album version?

Morgan is a worthy addition if this type of thing is the case

  • 8========================)

  • Rofl, you fail. You made it appear that the man has a billion noses lined up in pairs. PENIS FAIL

  • This rocks! Good to see the 7-string Manson back.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG I've seen it twice and it was unbeleivable at wembley I wished they played it at RAH, dubin and v

  • +1

Still Fury, Megalomania, Dead star and Space Dementia :D

And the man with the harmonica. More than makes up for the lack of CE.

  • Wembly version is the best one I have ever heard =]

Love it when he goes nuts on the harmonics on the solo!

  • why didnt it make it to the dvd ?

  • he actually said that... dunno why the thumbs down

  • uhh there his lyrics he can do whatever he wants with them

  • What's with all the thumbs down?! I thought it was interesting that he changed the lyrics, and thought I'd point it out, because he hardly ever does it! What was the reason for the thumbs down??

  • hell if i know, maybe people got the wrong idea?

  • i have yet to see muse live and i want to so bad!! damnnnn

  • Aw I miss them a lot, with Bliss, it is my favourite song, perfect Muse song!:)

  • I think I'll have to agree with joshthemusemole, this is not only the best Muse song ever; but quite possibly one of, if not the, best song ever. It has so many layers, is beautiful as well as dark, quite technical at times, oustanding lyrics, and has brought me on the verge of tears on more than one occassion...Yes, BEST SONG....EVER.

  • best song ever.

  • Amazing Recovery

  • Awesome!
