  • What's the name of the song played in the beginning? With the drumsticks and all?

  • @LoreH3112

    It's called Stampton Bridge.

  • I love the ending music...amazing

  • every sound amon touches becomes something so awsome...

  • was the music released?

  • WOW this makes we want to play that game so bad.

  • Waves plugins :)

  • I love the soundtrack song, 'anything for trish'. It's not only a weird mix of instruments, but genres too. LOVE IT!

  • AMOOOOON

  • Brilliant!

  • holy shit i had no idea. I always loved the music in this game and now its a million times more awesome haha

  • owowowowo..wait a second... WHERE IS AMON TOBIN IN THIS VID ????

We...don't care about these GUYS !!! LOL

  • @Miniboulette : "We"? Without them, there is no music.

  • @snake56 You seem to be very good at answering everything but the question dude...

Where is AMON TOBIN ??? Because, without Amon tobin, there is not music either, in case you didn't realize.

  • I always wondered if Amon was pronounced "eh-mon" or "ah-mon". Now I know!

  • it sounds like KoRn to me

  • I'd love to see a parody of this type of thing. Like, "Well, we didn't like the authentic sound of the bass drum so we decided to pour ketchup on it, duct tape the sides, and then sit on it and fart. Gave us a really great sound".

  • @Bobbysboy Haha.

  • This is genius. not the first time the concept is used, but the final product is most immersive.

  • yeah great work but i was expecting A.T. to speak about it not these guys..

  • This was probably one of the games with the best music, Amon Tobins music has a really great feel. His other compositions are great as well.

  • wired, you just earned a subscription. This video satisfied me, but I really wnat to know more on what th other composers had to say about making the inFamous track, and if I can get the in-game music (like BG music while you walk casually in the city) rather the soundtrack music in the OST CD.

  • What music they played on the first 30 sec?

  • @Shalliar The intro is called "Stampton Bridge" by Amon Tobin.

  • @Minute2Dawn Thanks!

  • did he just say that percussion is non musical? 1 53 haha

  • @Ichvyenichalster no, he didn't actually. He said things like trash can lids and crushed cars are non musical, but they made them muscial.

  • Amon Tobin = Genius

  • AMON TOBIN FTW

  • what software are they using in the video?

  • @LiftingPeanuts pro tools

  • Comment removed

  • @LiftingPeanuts 'Avid Protools' is the software, standard fair for professional audio.

    :-)

  • shut up sony business nerd and give us amon

  • @xxtiaan

havent you seen the picture? ;)

  • @DonnyRedNr1 what picture? Ive not played the game if thats what you mean

  • @xxtiaan

no I meant that one and only picture of Amon Tobin. Since everybody was expecting to see him in this clip.. Sarcastically I directed to that picture at 1:32.

  • One of the best video game soundtracks ever.

  • I hope they are working on infamous 2's music !!!!!!

  • YEEEEEAAAAA!!!!!!!

  • Where can I listen to the combat music track at 4:31 that shit is hard!

  • FUCKING RESPECT THE AMON TOBIN AND THE FOUR TON MANTIS!!!!!!!!!! And, Infamous isn't that bad, also. ;3

  • This is inspiration.

  • I love Amon Tobin and I love InFamous, but I never knew that he did the music for it! It makes sense though now that I think about it. Amon Tobin kicks ass!

  • Amon Tobin look like DJ Krush according to the photo at 1:35

  • @Tobu02 wow both of them have beards -.-

  • @InfiniteFish1979 I wouldnt sau 100 percent, but generally i have to agree. I prefer older "musical" Tobin. i do not enjoy filtered drill n creep;) or what is that style hes pushing everywhere after supermodified LP which was still great. Permutations is my favourite.

  • @InfiniteFish1979 best be trollin

  • Wow. ...Awesome! Can they put these high, medium, and low elements on a curve of skin temperature, heartrate, muscle tension, and/or landspeed? That would be awesome connected to a feedback-looped car stereo, or feedback-looped clothes. Since Amon Tobin is naturally a soundtrack to my life, especially while driving, I think that'd be the hipcool next big thing.

  • just amazing!!!!!

  • amazing,

  • anybody who hasn't played inFAMOUS needs to buy it NOW. I've played it about 5 times through and it is one of the most fun games I have ever played.

  • @sunset261 you're so right :D

  • wow didnt now amon tobin did the music for infamous too!

    he's incredible!

  • Awesome way of making music :)

  • I have the soundtrack to "Splinter Cell 3: Chaos Theory" by him. It's awesome!

  • Dude, wait, what...? Infamous has Amon Tobin's music? Ok, I'm so buying that game right away.

  • @Pehmu Thought the SAME thing! haha.

  • He did a similar thing with Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. The music would change slightly depending on whether you were detected or not, or directly in combat. 4 stages for each music track and each level had its own music.

  • I love inFamous

  • creative

  • I'm SO going to get his new album.

  • We weren't satisfied with the sound so we poured dried beans on it.

  • Lovely.....

  • ... need I say more : 1:31

  • does anyone know the song at 4:15 and if it is from amon tobin?

  • @karotomania : you'll find it on the itune store on the infamous soundtrack : "Stampton Bridge" must be the one, "The Courier" sounds similar both by Amon Tobin.

  • @alainsleig awesome, its courrier the one i was looking for, thanks a lot alainsleig

  • okay, that instrumental score in the Playsation menu that starts playing when u hover over inFAMOUS in the games section: Is there a title and where can i get it?

  • AMON TOBIN IS BEAST! I hope to see him more in the games industry, this soundtrack and chaos theory's are freakin EPIC, I wish he was working on the new Splinter Cell game, it'd be a sure buy for me. But he isn't

  • ...he is, it says it on his site

  • this is new news lol! and this news IS GREAT!!!! sure buy for me!

  • he said he is.

  • from where i can download this song ...is genius ....luv his work :X :X

  • i hate Infamous now because I'm on the really frustrating mission with the medical box

  • yay now i'm past it!

  • geniuuuuuuuuuus!love his music!

  • And this is what's called electro-acoustic. Found it amazing that they never used the term in the whole video. Cool to see pro-tools again though.

Amon Tobin rocks. Dunno why they were talking about "writing" the music. There's no "writing" involved whatsoever. It's all recording and improvising.

  • if only i had money to buy a ps3

  • i love amon tobin already, and now im going love infamous!

  • quality game! gta take note.

  • Splinter Cell Chaos Theory soundtrack was done by Amon Tobin. Totally excellent soundtrack.

  • @VirtuaCory Best game sountrack ever !

  • @VirtuaCory was it really? thats hella sick. i always remembered loving that music, even as i was younger.

  • @VirtuaCory chaos theory was the best splitenter cell in 40 % becouse of amon tobins music. It created this special feeling that no other sc had before.

  • @MakuthePOtHead That is so true special when you sign into spy vers merc then there is that battery them playing in the background unforgettable memories

  • nice!!

  • one thing that i loved about infamous

    and that was the music

    fucking loved it

    had a great feel

  • @laussica

Completely Agree with you, felt liek the world was breathing and just alive and reacting to wether your helping it or tearing it apart piece by piece. Fucking amazing game.

  • no, thanks

  • Amazing game, so amazed to find out Amon did the soundtrack.

  • WAY COOL ^_^

  • Where's Amon? :(

  • 1:35

  • I meant, he didn't get to speak. <_<

  • @valencetheory yeah! where the hell is he?

  • he's too cool to appear on the video

  • I can't believe I played this game without even knowing Amon was involved, I did LOVE the soundtrack though. Some of these game companies have no idea how to market their games.

  • No Amon here:(

  • 1:35

  • What mixing board is that?

  • So when does the Game Soundtrack come out? =P I <3 Amon Tobin.

  • this inspired me to go make music

    amon is a god

  • Does anyone know what the song is at -4:31? Tottally awesome lol =D

  • A piece of combat music from the game

  • I know, I was wondering if it had a name (if it was an actual song).. Else if I really wanted it, I could use my friends ps3 and record it. =P

  • Amon Tobin is awesome. My fav artist. =D

  • I have met Amon Tobin live shook his hand thanked and told him thank you for your music. This was after an amazing concert he put on with a 30min Drum and Bass mix and then back to his stuff.

  • that is absolutely brilliant. music that adjusts to what you're doing on screen.

  • i wanted to see more amon tobin! oh well 5 stars anyway jus cuz we know he was behind the soundtrack.

  • So did Amon do the mixing?

  • the software is called Pro Tools and its expensive as f ck!

  • Amon is the master.

  • what programms did they use????

    please write to me

  • cubase studio, pro tools, fl studio, reason, reaper(free), ableton live (free?)

  • are any of those programs in any way more user friendly than FL studio if u would know, cause as great as it i'm not getting anywhere it seems.

  • Any of those you're gonna have to rtfm but that's a given when trying to learn software no?

  • that's some fucken good shit right there

  • I almost think about buying a PS3 and this game just to hear Amon.

Not that I care more about one system over another, I just haven't paid attention to consoles for a long time.

  • Or you could buy the soundtrack. You can hear the majority of it on Tobin's website.

  • I've already got it but it's not the same as experiencing it in the game, obviously. As I understand it, the in-game music is layered and event-driven in the game, like the one done for Chaos Theory.

  • He is so good

  • why the fuck isn't amon in the video?

  • xter34:

He IS in the room all the time, you just don't see him. He's a supernatural being.

  • @xter34 hes apparently incredibly shy. honestly.

  • @xter34 The whole video is a disappointment without Amon Tobin. He should have all the credits. He told them what to do.

  • @xter34 because he's not a superstar, that's the fuck why

  • @spitfiregr no it's because he IS a superstar, that's the fuck why : )

  • Chaos Theory OST is also fucking awesome!

  • im getting excited

  • Supa Dupä, Awesöme!

  • AMON TOBIN IS AWESOME! awesome work on the infamous soundtrack!

  • check the splinter cell chaos theory soundtrack, works as an album although interactive in the game and layers incredibly, can get a 5.1 version to

  • amon tobin is the master of all sounds, godfather of sampling...

  • My god, Amon Tobin is just fucking amazing.

  • No, he's MY god! XD

  • Comment removed

  • If only musicians took more interest in the video game aspect of their music.

  • I get so sick of ps3 fanboys and 360 fanboys

both have great games, and just fucking buy them both o-o god

  • Man i feel bad for all Xbox 360 fanboys but i do have only Xbox 360 not PS3.

  • Comment removed

  • sucks to be u see u bitch about ps3 because ether one u never play it or two you just love shitty systems because let me tell u i have a ps3 and i love it ill never play anyother system plus the failure rate for the xbox-360 is 100% while ps3 is 0.01% and ps3 has blueray witch is fucking kick ass so just think apon that and if u hate ps3 so much why the fuck are u watching a video for infamous which is only for the ps3

  • this guy is joking people.

    dont take him seriously

  • Can I go to any video without it breaking into a console war?

  • dood xbox > ps3

  • ok tell me 5 reasons why 360 is better

  • Anyone know where I can find more videos of videogame music 'making of' videos?

  • so... what game is this for?

  • Infamous for the PS3

  • great game too..go buy it

  • Wow. Great music.

  • the guy in the begining is speaking really quiet

  • Amon Tobin has his own distinct sound... and it's awesome

  • Same guy who did the music for Splinter Cell, always very good.

  • nice bit of foley

  • quite good... imma buy this game when i can

  • Awesome video! Music usually gets undermined by players but to me it's always been the key element in the making of a good game. It's fun to know that some companies out there let musicians "do their own thing" and not restrict them by codes that limit the game.

Just awesome! And the music sounded great, really fitting for the game (What game is this btw?) :P
