I really would be concerned about Gabe carrying that skateboard in his mouth. My dog did that and basket balls and it wore his teeth down FAST! It wears off the enamel too. Gabe you are a awesome trickster! And lets not forget...oh so handsome!<3

@gigisdiamonds No worries...Gabe doesn't actually play with his skateboard all that often as we do so many other things, but I have removed the harsh grip tape it came with (mostly due to the way he'd wear his nails down to the quick scratching and pawing at it). It has a fairly smooth surface currently, and I plan on covering it with a rubber matting. Thanks for the comments!

I love this dog. I have two bulldogs and I couldnt possibly train them to do these things. Is it too late to train old dogs new tricks?

@mydolly54 Nope. Never too old or too young, but you'll just have to take into consideration how well they can hear and move, etc. It might take a bit longer, but with proper motivation they'll love interacting with you!

You should seriously make training videos for other Bully owners!! Bulldogs are SO smart, yet stubborn at the same time. I have a 9 year old named Diesel and while he can do tons of tricks, I had to learn pretty quickly that he had to be motivated to do things or he just wasn't going to do it! lol All the ones I have known have been pretty food motivated! lol You're dogs are amazing & you're obviously a wonderful trainer and companion=) Keep the videos coming!!!

so clever! And when I took my bulldog to obedience class the "trainer" said "you can't teach a bulldog anything". Such ignorance. Bulldogs never, ever forget anything, which makes them easy to train. But they also never forget unkindness or cruelty. They're among the most intelligent dogs - just different from other breeds. My vet said you only have to look at their heads to appreciate the size of their HUGE brain. Logical, isn't it.

Thanks Jasmine & Mom! He loves to learn and is a real character! We do obedience & rally together and I also like to teach tricks and other unique things. Gabe often learns things just by watching my older dog do them, then beats her to the punch the next time I ask for a behavior! (the kleenex trick & opening the fridge were learned this way) Thanks for the comments--we enjoyed watching YOUR trick video, too--and congrats on winning your contest!
