is it true that you can't live in chernobyl for the coming 900 years?

@ShinChanfactory well people already live there. but, there is plutonium which has several isotopes but it can range from less then 7000 years to about 324000 years. and those are half life numbers. so it's double that time before it's completly gone. but there are various elements in the environment at chernobyl which makes it very unsafe. especially near the red forest. it has a huge amount of curies (high rad emission). so you can't stay there long else you can get very sick and die ... :)

It's amazing things decay away and nature takes back places like this. You'd think it would take hundreds of years to do so, yet this has only been few decades since the disaster happened.
