If a meteor (it becomes meteorite if it reaches the ground) of just a couple of metres across hit... it would look like a v'v'v'bright (& straight) lightening strike On contact it'd be close to the Nagasaki A-bomb. The cameraman frazzked in milliseconds. Sorry. Maybe nice animation. But not good!

Great FX. I may say that in reality it would take the sound of the impact a few seconds probably 2 1/2 before it is audible to someone standing that far away, depending on the humidity and temperature as well. And everyone else that commented on this stating that its fake. NO SHIT! in the description it says plainly says After Effects. for the ones who dont have a creative mind don't know what that is, its strictly a special FX program industry standard for movies ect.
