  • This guys is wasted in a hotel, he is a natural.

  • What the hell is with the face at 3.31?

  • to potential tourists...unless you have a loaded wallet, get away from time square area...just go to the village....if you can't find it there you can have it made...if you can't have it made it doesn't exist...and there's only 1 spot for the best hotdogs in NY and thats the corner of 6th and greenwich.

  • As much as I love SoCal, I really want to live over there someday even if it's just for a little while. Maybe when I'm rich(haha, rigggghhht), I can just fly between the two places. xD

  • new york is the ugliest city in the world....and i live here

  • @blackwolfsquadron same..pretty ugly lol and cool at the same time

  • Great video!, but what did you miss?

check out THE URBAN EYE on The Thyrdeye Channel.

"Join your host Jerry Rio as he takes you on a nostalgic tour exploring and documenting the disappearing icons of this metropolis. Find out what New Yorkers think about unchecked development and the corporate homogenization that has altered and destroyed much of the uniqueness of the New York City landscape"

  • washington sq. park was my park for awhile,,icon warrior class swordsman from brooklyn,,hey rico,i miss u and ill always love as one man can love another,,god bless hector..

  • comercial bastard

  • my travel tip is to stay here at a staten island hotel. its a lot cheaper, and more suburban. But depending on the area u still get the city feel, and it is a borough. plus a quick free ferry ride to manhattan

  • This was an excellent video. Heading for Times Square in 2 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • [NY] "New York is Always Happening! Great city, I love where I am, living the moment when I live." 뉴욕에 대한 짧은 투어 영상

  • I found the background music REALLY annoying but the narrator was great. I love love love New York, love the 'can do' mentality but I think London is just that little bit better because it has more history. Would love a gap year in the big apple though. Great video, thanks for posting.

  • how is this guy gay? You cynics are just ridiculous, you can't tell if someone is gay. You're just thinking of stereotypes. Just because someone smiles, or acts camp, doesn't mean they're gay. Camp isn't the same word as gay.

At least people in the world do smile still, those who put cheerful people, down are the real miserable people. Now, focusing on the video, I thought it was excellent. Showed one of my favourite cities in the world.

Either way, informative video, it was fab!

  • greatest city in the world.....Bloomberg sucks though!

  • @haywood16 agreeable hes just trying to compete with the crook john daily in chicago all i have to say is both of those guys are shmucks

  • Check out my youtube travel show tracy travels for more tips for travel with family in NYC

  • Try the Mc'Donalds in Manhattan, it's huge!

  • @keithp theres probably 200 mcdonalds in manhattan. do u mean the one at times square?

  • @rey619yomama

I live in NY so I keep forgetting to specify for those who didn't know. Yes I meant the one in Times Square, that's the best one.

  • i stopped listening when he said 'capital of the world'. typical self centred new york arrogance.

  • @Nihilanth1982 .....just give few hours on net and get 38000 per week and see the change in ur life...simply visit this website for details

  • i love ny

  • I wish I had watched some videos like this before my trip to NYC a week ago. Fortunately, I did have a local guide part of the time. I had a great time--NYC is terrific! I made my own little video about the sights.

  • Ilove this video of NYC. Great video! I love New York! I am a native New Yorker now living in Florida

  • did he say the capital of the world

  • @Stalinsurfstheweb He was joking; US irony...

  • my channel has lots of NYC touring tips for cheap.

  • v cute man, i wonder if he is straight and single,....mmmmmmmmmm x

  • DIE BITCHES

  • Charming City. Payard got a lot of best desserts. They were really delicious, beautiful, and fresh. Righnt now, they close or moveout? Love New York so much. Thank so much.

  • If you can't make it to NYC you can still shop the indie designer markets on the new online store IndieShop.

  • @melperr Enough of your spam comments in New York City videos. It's annoying.

  • @ahersi29 green tea then a cigar that is a very weird mix!

  • Imagine going to the "Top of the Rock" every morning before the sun rises dressed in a suit. Whilst watching the Sun rise you drink some green tea and have a cigar as you think of mundane things. Now that would be so awesome!

  • NYC! I enjoyed watching this...I filmed a short called "A New York Minute". You can view it on my page!! Enjoy!!

    Please share!

  • I've been to New York only one time to attend the motorcycle and boat show. I was only there for 10 hours and I didn't want to leave!! I will definitely go back and visit those places in the video.

  • this is my dream: to visit this beautiful city! please support my dream, visit my channel!

  • Nice video its made me hungry too lol.

  • This guy gives information for people with a big wallet but most of these aren't real travel tips.

  • @jazzsoulfan if your a tourist and you go to nyc you better bring a big wallet or its going to be very boring unless your going to parks

  • @MrHomie9000 Sorry, but it isn't true. It's exensive to park your car in NYC ´& it's expensive to stay overnight, but there are enough good places for cheap but quality shopping & dining: Look for good travel guides and you can enjoy NYC for 150 $ a day with good eating but sleeping in the suburds & taking the subway!

  • :P is this guy serious??

  • @DopeTownGladbach Come on over here, I will trade you citizenship, the US sucks...not what you see on TV.

  • Welcome to NY! Want some free tickets to an off-broadway, internationally acclaimed "psycho-comedy?" Check out '666'. If you're into Conan O'Brien or Saturday Night Live, you'll love 666 and its lewd, politically incorrect and hysterical clowning. Take a look at our videos and follow us on Twitter @666comedy for free tickets, more info and comedy news.

  • Who gives a crap if someone's gay? The guy did a great job hosting the video. Great personality and very likable. That makes for a successful video.

  • @neonguy528 correct....its well presented and a likeable fella

  • Absolutely. Personality goes a long way.

  • @neonguy528 i might just put my head inside the barkley hotel when i am there {end of next week} and say hello to him if he's there...

  • god that dude is really gay

  • Damned I Love America !!!God I Love IT

  • Everyone is welcomed in NYC... Except hipsters...

  • best comment EVER. hipsters need to be exiled to Williamsburg where they're dirty asses belong.

  • @Izakokomarixyz yeah danm all the hiposters moved to austin where do they come from liberels from cali and they tend to be hardasses jus kidding though the liberel cali part is true turned austin from a collage town of weed and good times to a den of hipster and the weirdest city in texas if not america

  • I love it God bless NEW YORK

  • Shit im going there in April cant WAIT!:) What should i DO!?:)

  • New York City is a very happening place-a whole lot more so than where I live. I don't like the constant hornblowing and rude people, but other than that, NYC rocks.

  • If you like old ugly cities then go to NYC. Its a bunch of hype. Old failing bridges are now called historical sites. Failing infastructure = keeping it real.

Rude people....ebonics....ummm...its a celebration of the worst that mankind has to offer.

  • @Rata4You ok then lets all go visit you shitty village then...

  • absulutlie vabalous

  • dirty

    crime ridden

    overcrowded

  • Helpful..thanks for taking time to post it....

  • NYC subways smell bad?? i dont live in new york, but when i visited atleast the new cars were pretty clean.

  • yeah, you've probably never been to the other boroughs. Homelessness creates a problem in Brooklyn, Harlem, Bronx and Parts of Queens. The Station often have the urine smell and sometimes the subway cars. I ride it everyday, 5 days a week. I should know. If you're in Midtown, it's clean there since it's always packed with people.

  • How is it there? I wanna go there When I Graduate High school?

  • me to!

  • sranje pozdrav iz srbije ameri

  • hmmm, I've been living here my whole life and I can truly say it's not as remarkable as it sounds. Many people I know who have come never came back because they dislike it so much. New York City has many bad neighborhoods; the only good places to go in Stay in Midtown and under. It's very dirty here so if you're a clean freak, dont be surprised.

  • your not from new york , your a poser who is probably jealous and trying to give every1 bad views of ny , if your descrisptions of ny r true , then i feel bad for more then half the cities in america that are in wordser conditions

  • lmao, i know where i'm from. I currently attend CUNY Hunter College which is in New York. on the corner of East 68th and Lexington. Want more proof, ask me out. I am honest with what i see in New York rather than people who are in constantly in denial. Yeah, cities in America are terrible, crime wise. I was surprise New York was one of the best. Apologies if I spoil your perspectives on New York, but it's really not that great of a city. I am planning on moving away soon, far away from this area

  • first of all new york is very dirty?? sorry this isnt the 80,s now as a new yorker myself i traveled my city when i heard this stereotype , and for all the bloggers out here , take it from me , not a out of towner , the only dirty parts of new york are lower manhattan, midtown , and the east/west side are very clean , secondly i dont understand ppl who hate a city cause its dirty lmao so to have fun in a city it has to be spotless clean wow lmao , and also no city beats nyc in fun so good luck

  • lol, what other cities have you been to besides New York. Vegas, Hong Kong, San Franciso are pretty clean in general; lack of litter, homeless dont really show themselves and subways in HK doesnt smell like urine, or have graffiti, or even have stinky floors. You really have to see these places. I've been to Toyko and boy, that place is clean and modernized. New York is definitely overrated. Fun? If you're a tourist, spending money is fun. 80s is another story, that is just in the dumps.

  • i,ve been to alot of cities myself , i kinda find it weird that people say nyc is dirty and has homeless people , yet again people forget nyc has what 8 million people , and did u know because of the life and all the people homeless people from all over the country come here?? i dont let that bother me at the end of the day nyc tops at number 1 with nightlife , things to do , and places to go , hong kong looks cool , but has no diversity whats the point of even going their

  • Tokyo's population is more than New York's check that out. It's clean there. Well, Its somewhat true about Diversity in Hong Kong, besides white and chinese, there's really noone else. Just because there's no diversity means its boring?

Hong Kong has a nightlife just as much as New York. So let me ask, it doesnt bother u that subways smell like urine, the street has bums on it begging on the sidewalks?

Luckily I live in the better part of NYC, forest Hills. Trust me folks, not in denial here.

  • subways smell like urine?? false again , excuse me ppl as a new yorker even i know almost every subway in new york is going under rehabilitation including the subway by my house , th eonly problem i have with nyc subways is that its to fukin hot

  • why are constantly in Denial about your own city? You really have that much pride? Subways do smell like urine, alot of my friend complain about that. The New York subway is hot? are you serious? LMAO that's the funniest lie i've ever heard in my life. There are rats, homeless people, urine smell that's constantly in the air. Just take trains that not located in Manhattan and see if you can stand it. Go to Brooklyn or something. Gosh, so much pride for something that's worth nothing.

  • y is it denial??? im not a person who overhyphes stuff to make ppl think wrong. what are you talkin bout , their are plenty of toursit who been to new york , and people who live in new york who will agree with me right now so y am i in denial??? the rats in the subways are far a less problem then they used to be...homeless ppl?? now tell me what large city u wont find homeless ppl in??? you said you been to san fransisco homelessness is huge problem their also , SO WHAT R U TALKIN BOUT??

  • There are homeless people everywhere. But in New York, they live among the people not caring for other people. The homeless people in Tokyo, Seoul and Hong Kong at least tries to avoid people. But in New York, Homeless people tends to be everywhere making problems for people. Wow, which part of New York do you live in, never seen a homeless before? you must live in a homeless free, subway clean, graffiti free, litter free, rat free New York. Hmmm your version seem fantasy doesnt it?

  • i live in midwood brooklyn , and your complaints about homeless ppl arent smart , because first of all even sociology teaches you this , you will find \homeless ppl in the most dense cities because they can get more money from beggin , or just them being around alot of ppl helps them live longer , this is y youwont find so much homeless ppl in a city in wyoming , have you ever seen homeless ppl speak , a majority of them that i heard speak were from jerssey , conneticut etc

  • you know, my friends who attends City Tech in Brooklyn hates it there because the neighborhoods can get really bad. He hears shootings outside while he's in Wendys. As for Polytechnic NYU, they hear that people stab people. So now, you have tremendous crime, and homelessness. Midwood, I know a couple of people who went there for HS, surprisingly, it's one of the best in Brooklyn and in reality, it's not that great. I'm here to show the reality of NYC rather than the fantasy they expect.

  • lol ahaha u seem to like to talk about shootings , nyc has one of the lowest crime per capa in the country , well for large cities since small cities arent camparable , wow are you stupid i go to city tech , right across from polytech , ive been going for 2 years and ive never witnessed a stabbing , ive witnessed fights and some1 was shot all the way on fulton , but id like to see you go to chicago or l.a or san fransisco where the murder rate is much higher then speak

  • lol haha, i know there's worst out there, but it's not THAT great in New York. True the crime is everywhere. But you should really see the crime rates in Tokyo, or Seoul compared to New York. Even you witnessed fights and shootings? That's not enough to convince you that New York isnt a good place to live? O you go to City Tech too huh? haha, my friends are trying their best to leave the place. one went to St Johns and the other to City College.

  • well your comparing a american city to a asian city , off coarse asian countries are safer , but for american terms nyc isnt all that bad for torusit , unless your a dumb tourist who decides to go to south bronx , or east new york or brownsville , off coarse i witnessed fights and shootings i was born and raised in nyc im 19 , every1 in america has witnessed sometime of voilence in their life , no matter what city u in, yea im trying to leave city tech to go to john jay

  • i have not witnessed shooting first hand in New York btw. Luckily i live in a good neighborhood. O John Jay? I was planning on going there until i hear bad reviews on it. But you're definitely going to like the area, probably the best part of manhattan. I compare American cities to Asian cities to highlight how fast they're progressing compared to us. New York is a slow in progession; however, dont take me wrong, we are still progree, just not enough. haha, we're both the same age btw

  • no lol im 19 not 31 i only put 31 because i wanted to be able to watch all videos on youtube , but yea the area by jon jay is very nice i love it , the area by city tech all though i never witnessed no criem first hand , but i will admit their are alot of thugs in that areas especially the high schools

  • noo, i'm 19 didnt you say 19 before? Wow New York High schools are like death traps. I went to Forest Hills HS in Queens and it was just terrible. My friends constantly complain about their stuff being stolen or being mugged on the street by their fellow classmates. They mention Jamaica, Queens which is supposedly 20 times worst where all these things happen on a daily basis. Yeah, City Tech's and polytech's area is the danger free zone of the areas around it. lol what's your major?

  • im doing liberal arts to get into john jay for criminology , yea jamaica is the hood so im not suprised , do you have a myspace or facebook

  • yeah of course I have facebook. message me your email if you want lol Criminology, very nice field. I was planning to transfer to John Jay from Hunter but now, i'm going to go to City College for Engineering for the fall of next year. Do you feel that City Tech is like going back to HS all over again?

  • kind of lol , ahahahha but the voorhies building in city tech is very college professional , anyway mail me your myspace or facebook link

  • add me anytime, i private messaged you. lol Wow really. The only major that actually intrigues me there is the telecommunications there which is amazing but the school itself doesnt really have a good rep so ehhhh,o yeah talk to me on facebook instead. lol we'll argue more about New York there LOL haha

  • @cnsmile graffiti was created is nyc of course there is gonna be graff.... and graff is cool you douchebag....

  • how is new york is u live there ?

damn i have to come to new york one day and los angeles of course

  • Keep away from Brooklyn and the Jewish neighborhoods...Keep away from the Peurto Rican and Black neighbourhoods.

  • racist smh

  • I love New York, I go there two or three times a year.. I LOVE IT.... It feels like home to me

  • Aloha Dominic,

  • stop sayin fking fabulous dik head

  • unless your rich... and have good money skillz

  • i want to move to new york for my study/ career!

  • No, you don't. It's not NYC anymore. It's waaaaaaaaaay overpriced. I've lived here all my life (50 years) and I can't afford to do any of the things I loved doing, the things that made NYC great: Broadway, museums, dining, shows, concerts, everything, is too expensive, out of proportion.

    I'm getting out. It's insane.

Great if you're wealthy. Sucks if your anything else.

  • i want to move to NY after my study :)

  • New york in all new and york is all ancient... literally x]

  • I've never been to East Coast. How is it going to NYC, Philadelphia, Boston, DC in August. I heard it can be hot & humid. I'm from California, but living in Hawaii right now. Anyone can give me advice? And how's the weather?

  • september is the best time...

  • weather's been kinda horrid lately - a lot of rain. june or july are usually nice though - august you're going to find the city hot & humid. but regardless, the city in the summer is a party

  • yeah I;m from cali too and I went to DC and New York last june and it was really humind in DC. It wasn't that bad in Ny bbut it did rain.

  • july and august are the hottest months of the summer(typically because of the humidity0. i live in the midwest and august is definitely the worst month(on average anyways) as far as heat is concerned

  • hi i am new yorker so long time but it time to know more about ny ..nice ..

  • i am a new yorker, born in ny, living in nyc, and i haven't been to manhattan in about 6 month's. there so much action in brooklyn, 24/7. at 2pm today a building collapsed around th e corner, helicopters, and reporters all around, slmey lawyers tring to find residents of the building to pursue lwsuits. i saw a drug raid of about 100 cops in a housing project, and heard seeral gunshots, what a weekend!!!! oh and id i mention 1 millon puerto rican girls in the parade last week!!!!

  • I wish I could to know NY onde day..well, I have my lifetime to wait for this moment.

    Greetings from brazil

  • "Sometimes you have to venture out into the neighborhoods... TRIBECA." lol what a freakin joke... go to BROOKLYN

  • I really really want to go to new York.. If only I have enough money!!!

  • i'm going to new york in 4 days:D

    (12. june) i'm really looking forward to it xD

  • ...go to New York....that's my dream...

...I just like that life and people...

...I'm from Bosnia and, I know, it's hard to go to America...specially to New York...

...I hope I will visit that beautiful city in future...I <3 NY....

  • I guess im lucky being from Pennsylvania i always go to NYC, its only like an hour away

  • 0:09 - I thought he was the Chief Concierge; the clip says 'Chef Concierge'...LOL!

  • Good tips but too costly. Average tourists can afford it.
