Not uncommon for newer TBM pilots (not suggesting that this pilot was low-TT in the TBM), as she's a fast bird at cruise.. but she's pretty stable at low speeds as well. I can't see the airspeed indicator from this angle, but I'll bet he flared a wee bit early and bled off airspeed in a float. At the end of the float, the TBM will drop off like a brick (as will most aircraft).
It's just a little bounce.. the cameraman was probably just holding the camera with 1 hand.
i'm no pilot, but I've flown to Culebra a couple of times and have had rough landings... that one looked a lil hard but ok..... look up landing at culebra PR to see what I mean....
(IIehik) No touchdown markings on that runway from what I can see. Don't get the numbers mixed up with touchdown zone markings. Many GA pilots aim to "per er down on the numbers" when in fact that can be a dangerous habit (unless you are landing on a very short runway). You should start your flair over the runway not over the ground leading up to the runway. That way if you fall through ground effect due to poor airspeed management or a wind change you will land on the runway.
When asked to compare between the Cessna 172 and the SOCATA TB9, MY answer is: hands down, the TB9. It's because of my own personal preference, and my 16 hours of experience with the aircraft is enough to make me shunt the benefits of the C172.
Nice video! I flew the TB-9 in Marathonas and I hope to fly into Megara next time! The airfield is great; I have only experienced an autorotation in a Huey some years ago at Megara...when it served mainly military operations
not bad , the camera man just make it worst

If money isn't an issue what is the the best SOCATA for a commercial pilot.
My criteria is
1. a large cabin with at least six seats.
2. Reliable plane
3. relatively quiet.
I have 2 questions
1. Are any of the SOCATA's pressurized.
2. Does it have heating and cooling for the different seats Thanks alot

TBM-700 or TBM 850
If you have to ask how much, you cant afford it.

I didn't see anything wrong with that landing AT ALL.. I think the camera guy was just a little skiddish...

As says my Flight Instructor, a good landing is when the wheel aren't above the wings ^^.
So I imagine it could be qualified as a good landing.

camera guy a little scared there? landing was great. i think he got spooked when they wheels went from 0 kph to 100 kph in 1/100th of a second. hehe

Good landing is when the aircraft hits the touchdown markings and the nosewheel is on the centerline. That was not even close!

AND the rate of descent at the time of touching down!

A good landing is when the pilot stay alive
A perfect landing is when the aircraft can be reused ! :)

This looks a good landing especially for a TB9 with its hard undercarriage, the cameraman it winding someone up. Nice video
