Your correct zack. The Holy Father is the pope (Pope Benedict XVI) and the Holy Spirit guides and protects the Church which Christ Himself founded on Peter (The Holy Catholic Church).

Its not only in Orthodox churchs that they do that. Cathloics use it as well as Lutherans, and probably a few others. Perhaps Anglican.
I belive however by tradition they actually go to their right shoulder first while churchs of Western European background go to their left shoulder first.
