Remember riding in the back seat of my parents car with my 5 yr. old cousin and this came on the radio. He sang every word, I thought to myself - this kid is gonna be so cool when he grows up. He sure did!! Thanks for the memories. This is a great song.

Great song written by Bonner & Gordon (of The Turtles hit writing fame) but I prefer the live vids. How come with the odd exception we all get so big, fat and ugly by the time we're 50+ when we were like slats and looked greatin the late 60s and drank even more beer? Suppose that's what old age is all about. What fun it is.
