have you heard how they played in the beginning? their first tour in the UK was shite. even NOW theyre still unprofessional on stage, however, at least putting out great energy. whay im saying is- there were far more impressive bands to care for at the time like BRMC. instead of all that, Stroked got the credit and everyonelse sunk. Well, not Strokes themselves literally, but the magazines. Still, I do like Strokes A LOT.

when it started is actually incomparably better. nyc cops is on my pc and everywhere else replaced with when it started. and yes strokes doesnt suck albeit overrated but good band and I agree about AFI

they're not overrated. i mean, yeah, the did hit the whole mainstream wave, but i mean with how great they are it's sort of inevitable. being mainstream isn't bad. they're getting credited where credit is due. the only thing i have a problem with is, bands who get famous and don't deserve it. because they suck and have talent in little to no aspects of their bands. but the strokes, they most certainly deserve their fame and everything they've earned.
