The Federal Government is giving Drug and Human Trafficers the "right of way" on one of our huge Highways in Southern AZ. I have traveled this highway many times from San Diego to Tucson. This is an on going problem. There are actually 2 areas, 3500 acres that was posted in 2006 along the border. Bush sent 3000 NG to the border at that time. Obama is sending 1200 for the entire 2000 mile Southern border and now says he is sending another couple of thousand. My question is, are the NG allowed to enforce federal law or are they administrative as they have been in the past? For every illegal deported, there are 3 to 4 replacing them. This has to stop! One time a few years ago I pulled off I-8 on the way home from a trip to San Diego. My wife needed to feed our baby so I pulled off the road onto a dirt road.

Maybe if the Federal Gov't hadn't taken over 10,000 National Guard from the border states--their OWN National Guard members--to send them to Afghanistan, these states could protect themselves. In return for the 10,000 they took from these states? Yup, they gave them 1200--just 1200! Rather than 911, I would suggest dialing 9MM (as in Glock) since the Feds won't take care of the problem and they don't want to let AZ take care of it either. I have nothing against anyone coming here legally, but we need to defend our borders against ANY illegal crossings....terrorist or otherwise. The drug problem is largely our own damn fault. Without the demand, there would be no need for the supply....right? So we need to do a better job of enforcing our drug laws too.

This is an on going problem. There are actually 2 areas, 3500 acres that was posted in 2006 along the border. Bush sent 3000 NG to the border at that time. Obama is sending 1200 for the entire 2000 mile Southern border and now says he is sending another couple of thousand. My question is, are the NG allowed to enforce federal law or are they administrative as they have been in the past? For every illegal deported, there are 3 to 4 replacing them. This has to stop! Take back America.

It's the criminals who exploit human lives for profit. These sorts of people are not enemies of America, but enemies of humanity. One time a few years ago I pulled off I-8 on the way home from a trip to San Diego. My wife needed to feed our baby so I pulled off the road onto a dirt road.
After being parked for a few minutes we saw hispanic men peaking out from the bushes and trees. Then they started running accross the road just a hundred yards or so down the road from us.
Needless to say we got out of there quickly.
