They should do the nightmare before christmas thing over there at Walt Disney World. I saw a video of the ride and I think that it would attract alot of people if they did it. That is just my opinion but this ride is great and I am looking forward to the improvements that are apparently being made.

I hurd that in 2010 they are closing it again to re do all the anamatronics as they are still A1 modles ... not A100 like pirets is now... Also inproved lighting may be added and Something about maing the graveyard smaller and adding a new room ? :S ... i hurd form my auntie who is one of the imagineers. :P

Nope. A major refurb was just done last year -- no need or rush to do it again in '10.

No... They are going to do it again. I spoke to him on the phone about it to conferm. He said they split the refurbishment into two parts, this is part A and in (now 2012 not 10) they are doing part B. Most of it is just drawing at the moment.

I've been to both as well and you can easily argue that Disneyland has the best Haunted Mansion as well. It's all a matter of taste. I personally like the original new orleans style house better. I also like the fact our stretching room actually takes you underground and isn't simply an effect room.

aint that great not evan scary. when i was 8 years old though i thought it was scary.... now that im older and know wats happening its not scary at all. my first time in it was scary becuz the lights went off!! now that i know that happens its not scary at all!!! now its just fun to take my friends in and scare them when the lights go off!!! hilarious.....

Clearly you've never been to Disney World. It's its another world there(hence the name). Disneyland pales in comparison. WDW was Walt Disney's dream realized.

Unfortunately Walt died before the construction actually began on WDW and many designs had been altered to the point where they weren't nearly as grand as what Walt had visioned. Do a little research on Epcot and you will know how amazing it could have been. Disneyland will always be better because it has Walt Disney's touch that will never be duplicated at another park again.

I was 7 years old back in 1971 when WDW first opened and this was one of the first attractions we went on. It hasn't changed all that much, of course most of the first time I saw it throught my hands that my Dad was trying to pry from my face....LOL

First time i went to WDW in Nov of 04 this was the FIRST thing i HAD to go on. I remember watching behind the scenes footage on TV as a kid and just had to see it for myself.I think we went on it about 5 times that trip. Went back on Nov of 06 and did it again. Dining room scene is the best! Always find something new!

Omg i love the movie with Eddie Murphy in, it was class, mainly cuz of Marsha Thomason tho. She's amazing.

They have made a Haunted Mansion Video Game, i have it on PS2 but it is a bunch of crap.

I ca't wait to go on the ride when i go to Disney World next year. I hope this ride will be open.
