I've heard that sound before, sounds like you have a different cam in there and your carb is pretty out of tune. You might wanna check your choke setting.
@mdb205 are you talking about where it stalls a little bit? The car almost stalled out when taking off (footwork on the clutch) but other than that it's pretty mechanically sound, thank you for the advice/concern!
almost sounds like straight pipes?

somethin doesn't sound quite right. Maybe too much carb if it's a small block or maybe the side pipes change the sound waves.
