@jasoncape Nah man. The wasp doesn't eat the spider, the wasp just needs (usually) a single sting, and the spider is permanently paralyzed (as you slowly see the spider being paralyzed in this video.) Yeah, not dead, paralyzed.

The wasp drags the tarantula/spider back to the 'home', or whatever the word may be, and while the spider is alive during the remainder of his life, the wasp uses its live host as an egg sac. When the larva/babys are born, they eat the inside of the spider alive for food
