Why would God let his great prophet receive the punishment of losing his own brother, and then losing both wife and youngest child, both in the same night? Also, why would the angelical revelations drive him to attempt suicide? He claims he had a hiding place were an angel would talk to him. Curiously, this squares perfectly with prophet Muhammad (PBUH) own experience. Could they have been the same angel? One thing's sure: God's blessings do not bring grief, nor suicide attempts (Prov 10:22).
I often wonder how is it that this good man (may he rest in peace), who so many considered the last great non Jewish prophet, couldn't foresee that his automobile was going to be hit by a drunk driver. Also, why didn't God heal him from his injuries? If it's true that God doesn't do anything without first telling His prophets, why didn't God tell him? Bottom line. William Branham and Followers agree that GOD revealed himself as The Father, as The Son, as The Spirit. Agree to 'One God' and Jesus is God. A Father and Son relationship. Years ago I investigated '7 prophets of 7 church ages' which Branham taught, him being 7th. I wanted to know about them. I found something in common with first 6 Prophets but not Branham. They Taught the Trinity while he Rejected it. Trinitarians also wrote the wonderful worship songs you sing.

Why would God let his great prophet receive the punishment of losing his own brother, and then losing both wife and youngest child, both in the same night? Also, why would the angelical revelations drive him to attempt suicide? He claims he had a hiding place were an angel would talk to him. Curiously, this squares perfectly with prophet Muhammad (PBUH) own experience. Could they have been the same angel? One thing's sure: God's blessings do not bring grief, nor suicide attempts (Prov 10:22).

Bottom line. William Branham and Followers agree that GOD revealed himself as The Father, as The Son, as The Spirit. Agree to 'One God' and Jesus is God. They agree Son talked to Father and Father talked to Son. It really only comes down to two points. THE ONE GOD is '3 Persons in Relationship in Unity' or a Single Person acting out Three major Roles. Imagine someone asking to 'Define God and give only two examples'. The being who spoke everything into existence, measured in two statements?

Yes John the Baptist came in the likeness (Type, Similar) of Elijah not Elijah the person. John fulfilled Malachi 4 see Luke 1. Some scripture is dual. But this one is certainly not WIlliam Branham. A Father and Son relationship. Years ago I investigated '7 prophets of 7 church ages' which Branham taught, him being 7th. I wanted to know about them. I found something in common with first 6 Prophets but not Branham. They Taught the Trinity while he Rejected it. Trinitarians also wrote the wonderful worship songs you sing.

In the book of Roman, Apostle Paul a Jew taught that a Jew is one who keeps the Commandment of God,and circumcision that is of the heart. The real Israel will not kill others over a piece of land to build a 3rd temple after the pattern of man. The real temple of God is not build by the hand of man. The Lord God requires the true Israel to worship in Spirit and in Truth, not in that temple nor in that mountain. Real Israel nation will have to be born again like the gentiles did.

@mtcanz The book of Malachi, the word Malachi means Messenger. The Book is inspired of the Lord Jesus Christ and is one of the 66 books in the Holy Bible. The Word contained in these words of many of God's true messengers is read by both Jews and Gentiles. Another false notion of WMB's. Check the timelines of the prophets--several overlapped in ministry. Branham also thought "major" prophet meant more important... "minors" were not as important.
When actually, Major/minor had only to do with scroll size. Majors each needed their own scroll -- the 12 minors were usually fit onto one or two scrolls. There is nothing "minor about Habakkuk 2:4 "...the just shall live by his faith. "

Yes, if a prophet is deceived, it is I the Lord who have deceived him. eg. prophet Shemuwel made a wrong choice to aniont Saul as King, but it was a poor choice. The Lord was teaching him a lesson not to pick by outward appearance, and the next time he made a better choice and picked David son of Jesse. Prophet Shemuwel is still a prophet of God and a great prophet indeed. This shows us how God's prophet are as human as we are.

My motivation is simple, SWF. I was in bondage to and have loved ones in bondage to the Message. I don't believe you can find salvation or liberty in the Message. It is false,and many are deceived. Salvation is only by the blood of Jesus shed at Calvary. Thinking WMB can add anything to that is blasphemy.

You are condamning Brother Branham over the lies and false teachings of those that claim to follow him. He condamns even those that claim to follow his message as no better, and trying to do the same works. We need to walk by faith as Christ did on earth as the example to the disciples.

Branham added AND took away. When he says Mary didn't contribute anything, he robs the scripture of the literal fulfillment of Jesus being the Seed of the woman, Seed of Abraham, Seed of David, and the Kinsman Redeemer.
Please, SWF...reason from scripture; why two genealogies? Why does one begin at Abraham & go forward to Jesus while the other (Luke's) goes from Jesus back all the way to Adam? Think about it. Pray about it. "Let God be true and every man a liar."

What I find appalling is the things I have read in the Marriage and Divorce sermon -- calling women in make-up, "Hey there, Miss Doggy Meat" Calling women pigs -- the lowest creatures on earth. The message seems to teach this grotesque judgmentalism

@mtcanz Brother Branham teaches you need the Lord alone, and continuely point to the Word. I do the same, and find myself alone is because I tell people that they only need the Lord Jesus Christ to reveal to you the truth through revelation. Revelation is important. Lord Jesus Christ is the mystery of God revealed, to receive Him as He is takes revelation. To know the real context takes revelation. Brother Branham teaches us to walk with the Lord and need no membership to any creed.

But, as soon as you try to make something fit that doesn't really, you will invariably have to bend the Word a little, twist it -- to keep the man right, when only Yeshua Maschiyach - Jesus Christ - is the truth. @mtcanz brother Branham didn't taught many things that contradicting himself. It seems that way is because of lack of revelation. Be patient and Let the Lord reveal the scripture in His time. What is reveal to us is a gift, and what is not is not for us. Brother Branham in the early years taught things that are still close the organized institutions, but when the Lord opened up to him, he corrects them publicly. I haven't seen one minister like him. Why would a test for a prophet be in the bible, SWF,unless God meant for us to apply it? It's a simple enough question. If a man shows himself over and over again willing to play with the truth -- especially claiming Thus saith the Lord -- do you think we shouldn't test when the bible says test all things? As for the cloud, WMB wasn't even there on Feb 28th when the cloud was photographed. Jav season began March 1st. He was in Houston Mar 4th.

The problem is WMB could not possibly have been there as he claimed. Why can't you even look at that? If revelation can trump facts -- then why can't the JW's or the Mormons be just as right as Message followers?
William Branham said he was there. He wasn't. He was in Houston until March 6th. Check it for yourself.

He was there to see all these things, and thousands healed and received divine healing during his ministry.
