I live in a rural area in Michigan, and the judicial system here does not play games and has NO room for these kinds of reactions. Not only do they not allow families of violent criminals in the courtroom during sentencing, but the criminals themselves are cuffed and locked in a cell and ONLY seen via TV in the courtroom the day of their sentencing.
