My advice is to go get one I have a Remington silky&smooth cost me about $30 at Walgreens and has 42 tweezers and has 2 speeds go buy an epilator people!!!!!

i'm using panasonic foam epilator, but it doesnt pluck out all my hairs! I only epilate my underarms though. I even pressed the epilator head right over those stray hairs for a good 10 secs but it doesnt pluck them out!!!!!!

Getting drunk and epilating right now!! J/K I didn't mind the pain on my legs as much as my underarms. I for years have had this bad habit of plucking my leg hairs when I'm bored so that was easy. I just bought an epilator today and my underarms are slightly bleeding. Not enough that it's critical but enough that It had me concerned. Apparently this is because I'm not used to it. I would say HELL YES! I think waxing is a bit easier because you get rid of the hair in small sections and the hair pulls out at the same time. But with epilating it plucks every single hair and that kind of hurts. Oh, if you have waxed your legs a couple times before it won't be as painful epilating as it would be if you never waxed.

It is true.....every word this lady has said in the video is absolutely true. I got my first (and last) epilator from ebay, (emjoy) and let me tell you it HURTS LIKE HELL....compare the pain to like a bunch needless poking you repeatedly....oh my goodness...and yes about the getting drunk....that would be the only way I would use that thing again....but then it could be dangerous because we all know that alcohol messes up our motor skills so no no no...don't get it for the love of yourself!

epilators are really NOT that painful. After watching this video && others alike with people saying how excruciating the pain was it took me a lot longer to get the nerve to actually do it. It feels like someone is pinching you a little && it hurts less on the FASTER speed and if you put ice on your leg or where ever BEFORE you use the epilator. also i used the Remington Smooth & Silky. Hope that helps! =]

I've come to find out that using speed 2 is actually less painful than number 1. Number 1 takes more time, and you feel the pain ever more. And the more you use it, the more you become used to the pain :)

LOL the problem with getting drunk and epilating is that you smash the epilator into the wall as soon as you feel the pain :D But what I find handy is to shave first and wait a while till the hairs grow back to 3 millimeters and then epilate.... LOL... speed 2 is very scary indeed... I was in the store when I tried out the speeds... they scared the shit out of me.

I'm a guy and yah. The first time I felt the pain I was like " theres something horribly wrong with this thing" because it just felt like a thousand razor blades were digging a hole in my skin. I still don't know if I will use it regularly to try and thin some of my unwanted hair out at least. The follicles often bleed and if not then they are red for a few days. That chemical shiznat is painless and works fine. Probably will wind up sticking with that. So much for 55 bucks.

I use philips satin ice epilator..coz it has more tweezers..not so sparsely spaced as urs..so i dun need to go over the area a few times..yes it hurts..but it has this extra thing that u clip on this thing that chills ur skin..so it helps alot alot..
