true.. leopard is better... though m1 is excellent as well, leopard exceeds m1 in mobility and its advance communication system, plus it is efficient in consuming fuel.. a country using m1 in battle would have to lose a huge amount of money just to get their tanks going..

what a load of garbage. German tanks in WW2 were highly unreliable, sure some more notable ones such as the Tiger had great firepower and armor, but terrible mobility. Over-engineered crap which actually were counterproductive than just sticking to simple, cheaper, and more effective ones.

WW2 until now? Leopard 2 is 'possibly' the best tank of today, where are all the rest lol?

Much of the unreliability of German tanks in WW2 were because off thin tracks. They weren't designed for the muddy terrain of fall and springtime Russia.

It is also true that the Tiger was unreliable because it used engines too weak for its armored weight, and had to cool off..

However, denouncing German tanks as generally unreliable isn't fair - the problem was more in a lack of maintenance due to poor supplies.

When they were properly supplied, German tanks were as reliable as any other.

it is pretty pretty pretty good...of course there is always a way to kill your opponent but having an ace in your sleeve gives you a good advantage and the leo has plenty of aces available...I was part of the crew for 2 years and we had alot of fun with it...

German tank builders always had the brains, that explanes why they kicked the crud out of Allies In WW2 and gave a beating to our armed forces in the start of the war.
