I had one of Junkman's henchmen, but the shooter thing wasn't a projectile like they shown here. It did come out, but it didn't completely leave the barrel.
Actually, he's saying "Everybody say...JUNKMAN!" (He's taking a picture. Of course normally it would be "Everyboday say cheese!" ) Andt he character's name is Junkman, so...
Anyone else remember the original figures were $4:99 each in 1991, and the protek ones were $7.99 each in 1993?? They each had the same functions but in two years the price almost doubled. I also remember the original cars cost $19.99 back in 1991....not sure what the price was in 1993 but it certainly went up.
These were a great concept. Kids always break their toys so make toys that are meant to explode XD. They were awesome. Not only that but it had a decent message about vehicle safety.
Out of the toys shown here, I'm missing Spare Tire, Daryl, Dent, and the vehicles. I do have Ted with the video and the Bash 'N' Bomber car which are not shown.
Oh yeah just about evert toy I had here though broke (well the crashable breakable ones the parts that let their arms back on broke off with the exception of Ted at least I think though they are all at My grandmother and grandfather's home so I'm not sure, I wonder where My old Junkman and his Junkbots are over there, maybe I could find these toys on ebay but I only want the Dummies V.S. The Junkman series of toys since thats My favorite take on them and the only one I knew as a kid).
Ah yes these toys were the essentials for The Incredible Crash Dummies V.S. The Junkman themed series of toys, you couldn't of had the other stuff without these guys. I had all of them, these guys who were made by Tyco were so much better than Hotwheels and 4Kids take on them they were deemed too violent though and discontinued this theme but I say screw the people who said that its not like the Dummies actually got hurt and it was more comedy than action *To be be continued*
*Continued* Oh and Junkman will always be one of the greatest villains of all time despite being forgotten over time he will always be remembered by Me and all the other people who loved this take on the Dummies and I think its a darn shame we'll probably never see him in another Incredible Crash Dummies series of toys. He deserves to be known by future generations. In fact this whole take on the Incedible Crash Dummies doesn't deserve to die. It should be brought back someday Junkman and all.
I remember this commercial like yesterday, I had pretty much at least one of nearly everything in the entire line. They were my favorite toys. I even had the silverware, the pinball machine, so much stuff lol
supposedly "3 major networks" banned the original crash test dummies commercials because they thought they were meant to promote the toy line
