When this song first came out, there was a story making it's rounds on MTV, VH 1, etc., etc., that this was some type of dedication to the lead singer of INXS who had recently died. I don't remember how that all went down but I remember that was the story. And, I don't know that Bono ever confirmed that story, I just don't remember.
