  • or you could just get rid of the old piece of junk, get an external hard drive (which uses less power than the old computer), and software that already comes with windows. There. problem solved.

  • @crewch101 You're right, you could do that today (July 2011) and that's what I probably would do.

    However, in January of 2008 when this video was posted, that was a little less of an option. Also, the entire article that accompanies this video was more of a "do-it-yourself project" than a "Run out to Best Buy" suggestion.
