  • ThickAsWater:------ thought I would answer this for you you use a lunge line to make sure that the horses dosnt go to crazy plus I don't know if u noticed (not to be rude) but the fencing is pretty low

  • god look at that mane!

  • Being that I'm a beginner in my knowledge of horses, I find this video really fascinating. I simply love watching how he inspects everything and is okay with it afterwards. He really does seem eager to learn. :)

  • I just love you Tegan! You are my idol. And boo is very lovely and I'm glad he has someone gentle, patient, and intelligent to work with him. Thank you for being such an inspiration and motivator!

  • @Myhorsetyller56 what? i didnt say anything?

  • Hey :) is boo for sale ?

  • @bigapplesmallapple Just thought I'd answer your question. On the other video of Boo in the description she says he isn't for sale. I think he belongs to a friend of hers and she's just breaking him in.

  • oh god he's gorgeousss, i want him! haha

your videos are amazing, you're so talented at working with horses :)

  • Sorry to be a bother, but I noticed in the beginning of this video, you only had a lunge line attached to the bit on the inside, on the outside it was attached to the surcingle/roller. Why is this? Thanks! :)

  • wow.. he looks way better threw his neck since your ground trainging video! qustion? why do you use to lung lines to lung him? your doin amzming with himmm <#

  • I just love how you work with horses :)

  • this is amazing! this horse is so beautiful :)

  • You're so wonderful human. I like how you work with all horses I wanted to ask you, because I do not know what to do. My horse is perfect for working from the ground. The problem when he was Climb on the back, he does not listen to horsemen and run where they want. Cord, I have tried. He pulls out and passes. What to do? He trusted me and we can go through fire and water as long as I will be beside him.

Sorry for mistakes I don't know english very well :D

  • Hey im gonna be getting a 5yr gelding very very soon and i was wondering if you have any tips on training him. I have no idea how to train horses so yea....

  • @alyandponies1 why are you getting ahorse if you don't know how to 'train a horse'. You really really really shouldn't be getting a horse if you don't even know the basic b/c its dangerous for you and the horse. What training are you even trying to do... breaking...jumping...dressage...?

  • @LandLoop Look i know more about horses then you would ever think. I know the basic training but im talking about how she trains her horse to do all kinds of things, jumping dressage, tricks etc. I already have a horse and have trained her to do many things. You dont need to be so rude about it. Im training him to jump. I was just asking for tips i know how to train a horse just not as good as her. You dont know anything about me or my training skills. And i was asking her not you.

  • @alyandponies1 Lessons and/or a good trainer are a must, preferably someone you know and trust, dont be embarrased to get help if things go wrong!! I have a 5 year old TB and its good fun, very rewarding, BUT it can be dull aswell. We're talking repetition repetition repetition. For example, I'm retraining an 8 year old arab x pony whos been abused, and I just stood there for over an hour running my hands up and down his legs and over his rump to get him used to it and stop him...

  • @JosiieBanjoBrnz My new horse isnt crazy he has been riden and stuff just hasnt jumped and stuff like that. He is very green. you can pick up all of his feet run your hand along his rump and more. He just is not trained for any diciplines

  • @alyandponies1 Sorry, I didnt mean he was crazy, I was just trying to point out that you need to repeat certain things over and over and OVER and it gets pretty boring, but just keep at it, I've been trying to train my 5 yr old to jump and at first they dont even know what a trot pole is, they jump it, step on it, fall over it, kick it, etc. But just keep lunging them and they'll get there, then raise the poles. Take it slow, dont rush it, thats what I did and I regret it!

  • @JosiieBanjoBrnz Its okay and i know i just wanted some tips from one of the best horsemanship trainers on youtube:) I know how it goes but im pretty excited about it:)

  • @alyandponies1 ... being scared. He went from rearing and shaking and plunging away when you so much as laid a finger on his rump, or trying to kick you if you managed to touch his legs, to being able to walk up to him in the yard, not tied up, and pick up all his 4 legs with no problem.

    Best of luck! :D

  • @alyandponies1 Probably a bad idea to get a younger horse if you don't know how to train one :)

  • @alyandponies1 If you are going to be getting a horse, you should look up methods natural horsemanship use if you have no experience in training horses. It is about training yourself more than training your horse. Look up parelli.com and maybe invest in some training programs or keep watching natural horsemanship on youtube. Don't give up and always put your horse first and listen to him and you should be able to learn how.
