The was a good drum solo but the dancer seemed to stay on one side of the stage and she didn't really pay much attention to the audience OR the drumers. I think she handled the solo well though

she's staying out of the view of the drummers - they get pissed at dancers who dance right in front of them all the time. Standing in one place, for the most part, is very traditional for the drum solo. She did very well. This is not remotely choreographed - all improv.
