The Food Fest is also great, along with the Art Fest (4th in the nation by the way), the new entertainment options on the westside, the revitalization efforts on Court Ave., and the new condos, office buildings, and riverwalk that encompass $1 billion in downtown redevelopment. Hell, even the capitol (which boasts the continent's largest gold dome) is being reinvigorated with a massive new project to beautify it.
Umm... just found this reply in my email. As a matter of fact, I live in Des Moines dipshit, so yeah, I know plenty. Hmmm... AHL Hockey, AAA PCL Baseball, the new D-League team, the reincarnated Barnstormers don't seem boring to me.
Neither does the Food Fest, nor the Art fest to a lesser extent, nor the ever expanding restaurant options. Hmmm.. the new developments in the downtown especially don't seem boring to me, therevitalization of Court Ave. the constrution of condos, and riverwalk projects encompassing $1 billion dollars of downtown development.
That's a very inccurate representation of Des Moines. Des Moines is a very nice city, excluding the near-northside. Clearly, he's in the near-northside. Des Moines has plenty of real attractions and I encourage people to explore instead of ignore it.
