if jesse would run for president and win we'll have another JFK assassination 50 years later, what am i sayin.. he'd never get sworn in. imagine, amongst many other things, he'd start a serious 9/11 investigation!
It's funny how Ventura makes one simple statement, and 3 other people can't actually refute anything he says. They just straight to the same talking points over and over again.
lol yall on about taxes being high or could be LIVE IN ENGLAND hahaha we have a %22 tax rate this could be higher now + we have to pay VAT ENGLAND is 1 of the most highest taxed country's int he world its fuckin sick
The fundaments between democrip and rebloodlicans on the war, well Obama is using the same exact agenda as Bush along with the same exact policies, and even mercenary forces. In fact nothings changed since Obama has taken office. Not a thing. Remember, the very first thing he was going to do, was bring home all the troops.
I loved it when he rubbed the Democrats' nose on their having supported the Iraq war at the beginning and being spineless.
Both parties are a disgrace but to me the bottom line is that the Dem agenda is less mean and with it we get something. With the RepubliKKKans all we get are catastrophes.
these commentators dont even seem like real people. theyre just career politicians/journalists.
they spend their lives making sense of a complicated political class that is having less and less to do with real people's lives, and then sell it as 2 competing ideaoligies.
@Noah97 they get taught all that heavy jargonised language that they just sound ridiculous just like the amendment booklet for state/county/city elections.

The only two things i don't like about jesse ..1 he is AntiChrist/AntiChristian and 2.he does not seem to get that most Americans are not against mexicans being here we just want to control the flow and know that we are not being bombarded by drug runners, criminals etc as we had done to Florida..we all see what it turned florida into..its a place of filth, hell and poverty in all the major cities..they hide it cause they need tourist. We just want some laws obeyed by not only Americans..
Jessee as president? LOOK OUT WORLD! It would definitely be interesting and very entertaining! I highly doubt we will ever see Jessee as our president but maybe involved with politics again. His new tv show has him busy and maybe he's heading in the direction of uncovering all of the bullshit in our country. He's the man to do it!

The best presidency would be Ron Paul with Jessi Ventura. Ron paul will be mainly focused on the ecocomic perspectives, since he his better knowledgeable with money and economics.
exactly, I don't know what it is about Ventura, maybe it's just b/c he's not putting on an act like everyone else. I voted for Obama b/c I thought he was the best option, but if someone like Ventura was able to run- I'd easily vote for him.
I hear you. But consider this: most progressives I've listened to didn't say Obama would run the country better. They said he was the best option out of those who could win. Now to say this is true isn't to say that it's right. In fact, when the American people (and indeed the people of the world) are forced to settle, then there's a big problem that seriously needs fixing. Nader should have won in 2000, but they wouldn't even let him in the debate. This is Oligarchy; not democracy!
Yes that would be a great team. Ron Paul is absolutely right about how the Federal Reserve is unconstitutional. I mean it's kinda weird that after they took over- they added the inscriptions in latin on the back that read One World Order (i've heard conflicting translations on this- others New Order for The Ages or New Order for The World...regardless it's a strange motto- kinda third reichesque. And what's with the free mason symbol of the unfinished pyramid with the eye on top? lol
look at how many things our government is doing that is unconstitutional.
This needs to be restated from the lostrepublic's comment.... We are no longer non-english speaking european immigrants or newly freed african salves. We are now the educated, via the internet, americans who shouldn't stand for the bullshit that our leaders preach.... Bush AND Obama are nothing more then different name to the same policies.
these smiling jackasses sound and look like a bunch of bad actors. seeing them next to jesse ventura makes it so obvious how fake they are. makes me want to vomit.
An increase of $65 billion-a-year health plan, $15 billion in green energy spending , $85 billion in tax cuts and credits, A $25 billion-a-year increase in foreign aid $18 billion a year in education spending and $3.5 billion increase for a national service plan. And thats not inclurding the trillion dollar stimulus packages.
I am frustrated by the way pundits turn focus onto politicians' ability to "tap" into "feelings" of "the people" rather than truly debating the validity and intents of their arguments and policies.
IF YOU ARE NOT A POLITICIAN..RUN FOR OFFICE NOW...LIKE YOU AND YOUR CHILDRENS, AND YOUR CHILDRENS CHILDREN DEPEND ON IT. DO IT. DONT PUT IT OFF ONE SECOND. GO IN THERE..AND RUN VS. THEM. WE HAVE TO KICK THEM IN THE NUTS ON THE CITY, COUNTY, BOARDS OF EDUCATION and EVEN FEDERAL OFFICES.
I like how Ventura refutes the Democrat with one sentence. He's pretty good. Too bad he couldn't educate the public a little bit more... The New Deal EXTENDED the great depression...
Ritter was the lead inspector. He never said or believed WMD were there. He was using the last year in Iraq to get military defense strategies from the Iraqis. Get the facts. Blix was a mouthpiece Ritter did the work and knows the facts.
Ron Paul is the only Rep that I like and will vote for (with Jesse as VP it would be a dream team) cause he isn't a politician. He stands for the constitution and echoes values that I believe.
Oh my Gosh! This guy is GREAT! why doesnt he run for president?? I dead serious, he is more sincere and logical then all of those corrupt and power hungry Washington clowns!!
When it comes to deceit, the Bible tells us we will know a man by thier fruits...so, the D's can say they are soooo different from the R's but where's not change?? I agree with Jesse they are gutless they have gone along with Evil & Eviler (Bush/Cheney) and the whole R party almost all the way down the line. So....they can talk all they want but the fruit of their trees all taste the same. We absolutely need a Revolution in this country and we REALLY don't have much time. God be with us!!
what are these idiet wanna bes trying to say ventura is a master of telling like it is hes a cyclone every one knows ventura cant be beat these reperters should be bowing down to this great man they are lucky he doesn't pick them up and slam them
going back to the days of james madison, he pleaded to the founding fathers to get rid of faction, in other words political parties. but as hard as he tried, it wouldn't go forward beacuse representatives proposed plans that only favored either large or small states. so theres always the fear that one's vote may be weighed heavier than the other. thats the problem with politics today. one party has controll over the courts, the oval office, and used to be the congress. solutions, solutions...
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
This guy probably goes to bed at night and has dreams of himself sitting in the oval office, this clown actually thinks he would be a competent, qualified leader, he says give me ballot access and 'i'll beat them all", he's an ego driven clown, his absurd 9/11 conspiracy theory and his other dumb comments shows he has no credibility.
We weren't lied to, you don't know what you are talking about.
Listen, if you're a "wrestling" fan and a Ventura fan, that's fine, but don't be taken in by this guys "celebrity" and assume that he is a qualified, competent leader, he's notm he's just givng his "opinion" nothing more.
What facts specifically are you talking about, the facts according to Jesse?
If you're a wrestling fan or Jesse fan don't get offended, if you look to this guy as your hero fine, but this guy isn't remotely qualified to be president, it's ridiculous to even suggest such a thing, he's got a book to sell that's all.
he may not be qualified but neither is Bush, and look what happened
Ventura was correct about the domination of the REPUBLICRATS, bottom line the whole system is bought and paid for, the government is run by money. there's never enough money for education but there's money for war, there's money to hold political rallies and expensive banquets. its disgusting.
why would someone spend millions if dollars to get a job that only pays 300 to 400 thousand dollars. spending money to make money
Bush is more qualified than Ventura and when you say look what happened are you saying that Bush lied and that's why we are at war?
That's nonsense and is not true.
Yes, unfortunately it's not the most qualified that wins an election but who has the most money, Obama and Hillary is a perfect example.
Your comment about education pumping more money into the education system does not make a better school system or more educated kids that's been proven.
How is Jesse more qualified than Bush or any of the other contemporary presidents?
He talks alot but I don't hear him giving any solutions to anything, I bet his totally off base, goofball claim that 9/11 attack was an inside job makes sense to you too.
I can more than answer your question, but the fact that you actually think this guy is even remotely qualified to be president says alot about you.
Just because you call a theory "goofball and off base" does not prove it false, bub.
You want to talk about qualifications, how about who has a better understanding of war? Jesse Ventura, Navy Seal, did 4 years in 'Nam as a demolitions specialist plus 2 more in the reserves. Bush, Texas National Guard. The unit Bush joined let him fulfill his military commitment at a base in Texas. Bush never served in Vietnam, but he did learn to fly some airplanes.
His claim that 9/11 was an "inside job" is a bunch of nonsense as was his other absurd remark comparing the U.S. to Nazi germany and his remark about immigration, the guy wants to sell books so of course he's going to make outrageous and absurd statements.
My 2 older cousins served in vietnam and the retired detective that lives near was also a navy seal so I guess they are qualified to be president as well according to your "logic".
Serving in vietnam or being a navy seal for that matter is not a prerequisite for being a good president.
Bush has proven he is a good leader, compared to whatwe could have had as President, John Kerry or Al Gore.
what is Jesse's foreign pilcy, how would he handle the immigration mess we have here, what would he do about the economy, he's alot of talk but gives no answers.
The guys an ego hungry media hound with a book he's trying to sell.
I agree, being in the military isn't a pre-req to be pres. However, it does give someone a much better understanding of what war truly is. Bush lacks this knowledge, and now our military is bogged down indefinitely in Iraq trying to police a civil war. How has he proven he's a good leader? He has the worst approval rating of all time! A majority of Americans feel we are headed in the WRONG direction according to every poll. Oh yeah, we're in the midst of a RECESSION! great leadership...
Listen, if you want to support this media hound then go but his book, he is not qualified to be president...period.
I don't like that we are over there, but do I think we should back out, no, that would play right into the terrorist's and extremist's hands.
They would say, see, we drove the U.S. out, there has been a growing hatred toward the U.S. and the west for 20 years and it was only a matter of time before we had to confront it.
Reagan had a very low approval rating at various times during his during presidency, not much better than Bush and Reagan had to lean up the mess Carter left, a bad economy, double digit inflation, gas shortage cars waiting in long lines at the pumps, a terribly weakened military, etc....
reagan's spending and the whole idea of "reaganomics" didn't help the situation though. bush has also set the economy down, and this was following clinton who had the economy making money, so that whole argument is essentially moot.
now, i see what you're saying, but you're missing the point. "playing into the terrorists' and extremeists' hands"? there is NO TIE whatsoever between Iraq and 9/11, so why are we THERE? maybe we should be in afghanistan, where al quaeda organized and where osama bin laden is hiding...
as for whether or not he's qualified for the presidency, i think it's a little pointless for him to be bringing this issue up now, but he is a good politician and could do a lot for this country.
I'm not getting into a debate with you about Why we're there, but pulling out now is not the answer and Bush didn't lie about the war as many want to accuse him of.
He could do alot for this country? Give me a few examples, he doesn't have an answer for anything, whether you like it or not, he's a media hound, he wants to sell some books.
Bush totally lied about this war .. Vietnam was lied about too .. hell the Cival War was lied about as well.. Amercians don't have to put up with that bs . I'll never accept it ..People have to stop accepting things ... and having this "deal with it" "thats just the way it is" attitude .. THATS why people die cause people blindly follow ..
Bush didn't lie about the war, you're wrong and what happened when we left vietnam ?, the civil war was lied about ?, do you know what the civll war was fought over ?
I agree with you, alot of people do have this, "what are you gonna do attitude" and most are clueless as to what really is going on.
He totally lied and Govt has NO right to do that! Iraq NEVER did ANYTHING to provoke us. Bin Laden wasn't there. It's about OIL . Iraq had NOThing to do wiht 9 11. The constitution says only CONGRESS can declare war and they did not. -Well they didn't but they did cause they knew if they gave permission to use FORCE that Bush would use that as a reason -but still you have to Declare War and they didn't word it that way which they MUST for President to go to war .
Hans Blix believed there were wmd's as well, he complained constantly, saying they won't let us interview any scientist's, who were key to findinf out what weapons Iraq did have.
He also complained about not being able to go where they want and about Iraq not cooperating.
So let's put all this in perspective, if bush lied as you so unjustly claim, then the Clinton Adminstration, King Abdullah,
Hosni Mubarak,
Valdmir Putin,
Tony Blair
and other middle eastern governments, the marines who found Iraqi chemical-biological weapon protection suits and field syringe injectors filled with an anti-nerve gas antidote all lied in a vast conspiracy that included everyone up and down the chain of command of the U.S. military.
I guess the many skeptics of U.S. policy on toppling Hussein and also believed there were wmd's werea part of the conspiracy as well.
Your other claim about this being a war for oil is nonsense as well, oil from Iraq accounts for less than3% of oil used by the U.S.
Iraq is barely a player in the world oil market, remember when Saddam cut off exports for a month to try and instigate a new oil embargo, the world hardly noticed.
Saddam's little ploy barely moved oil prices and other exporters supplied the oil. Here's a list of our oil sources : 41.9 within the U.S. 9.8 Canada 7.8 Saudi Arabia 7.7 Mexico 7.3 Venezuela 3.0 Nigeria 2.5 United Kingdom at the bottom of the list is Iraq 2.3 17.7 oil sources from other countries So your war for oil claim is old and a bunch of nonsense
wow, you have really enlightened me, oh wait no, that was just me being sarcastic, dude, the 9/11 commission concluded that there were no weapons of mass destruction, where did you get your facts?
AAA I'm reading "The Real Lincoln" Thomas D. knows what he's talking about. Civil War was about the Lincolns agenda and a war based on the right to SECESSION. 50 prior to that war SEVERAL other countries ended slavery peacefully without any deaths. So slavery as bad as it was and YES it had to end STILL WAS NOT an excuse to violate peoples constitutional rights nor to start a war. Dude Lincoln put people in prison for opposing the war- with not any due process. Thats violating the constitution
Yet ever since Lincoln they just say "well Lincoln did it so why not?" Well it's still wrong I don't care if they were violating the constitutino for 1000 years .. doesn't change the fact that its wrong and that we the people have the right to fight for it!
Jesse, Ron Paul and people like US are questioning the Govt because THAT is our DUTY. I don't claim to have all answers thats not what my statements are about nor Jesse's (and those answers he DOES have make total Sense btw! )Govt thinks it can control .. Well I'll tell you this .. I vote .. I read and educate myself and if push comes to shove I WILL fight with others for OUR constitutional rights and OUR money to take OUR country back from them and we'll start a new order.
I think we should back out, no, that would play right into the terrorist's and extremist's hands. Its what they want YOU/others to think-you're falling for the trap. Dude thats Bush and the other politicians talking and sayin that to brainwash the sheep and lemmings in this country it's sad that people buy it.
i agree, chralieisking. bush does lack this knowledge, and ventura's comments that many politicians now are chickenhawks is pretty understandable. people who deferred service are the main people sending our young men to war. something about that doesn't seem right, and i'm glad that he's pointing it out.
as AAA4509 has said, approval ratings aren't everything. and also, you have to remember that these polls are often skewed and not many americans actually know what they're talking about.
Yeah but Bush is a Chickenhawk .. no one who chickens out of service is right for later on in life demanding that other peoples kids die in another war. Thats being a hippocrate. Bottom line is Jesse stands for truth and the constitution and what the founding fathers meant when they framed the constitution.
First off Jesse didnt say 9/11 was an inside job, he is raising questions about what happened. He were go again of trying to write off someone who doenst swallow the media bullshit. Second read the enabling act of Germany and compare it to the patriot act here. Third ask yourself why that was ready to go so quickly after 9/11. Fourth. As for his qualifications, he served as Gov of MN for 4yrs and he was mayor in a MN city for 4yrs as well.
he never claimed that 9/11 was an inside job, so don't cavil at him because of your own misunderstandings. he was skeptical, saying that there were a lot of fishy areas around the whole situation.
although it was a little extreme, his comparison of the u.s. to nazi germany was pretty justified. we're doing precisely what they did back during their reign, we're just using different terms.
I'm not blind ... I'm with Jesse with the 9/11 about it not adding up .. I believe there were bombs on the planes that made the blasts more powerful when the planes hit the towers for one .. and yes i do think that Bush and the Govt were behind 9/11..Jesse's statements echo my feelings about it. That people sit there and not question and just believe whatever they're told.. its very sad
It's so hard to believe isn't it ? It's unthinkable ... The audacity it would take the govt to kill so many.. Hitler once said "The bigger the lie the easier the sell" .. Look at the Civil War-The cost in death alone was 620,000 Americans in a population of 30 million. If you standardized that for today's population of about 280 million, that would be about 5.5 million deaths, or more than 100 times the number of Americans who died in Vietnam -- and that was in just four years
They were lied to then... it wasn't about Slavery the govt violated so many rights (the right to succession for one. Then you have Vietnam... another bs war that was unneccessary .. all those lives gone because of a corrupt govt.. 9/11 is yet another example of the evil that exists Sending our kids to die in these bs wars its just as bad .. 9/11 is just another way
Go ahead and think we're crazy ... As Jesse said its unpatriotic NOT to question.. Yet people make it seem like its the other way around.. Being blind to what's going on is whats got people killed. I don't know who did what.. ok but I know this the 9/11 commission left out a lot of info .. the way Bush behaved was very shady..hell he didn't even the first election fair and square!
Slavery was the primary cause of the civil war and the reason why they wanted independence and state rights is because the political leaders of the south thought that if they had to pay their slaves or even worse, lost them, their entire socio economic system would collapse.
It wasn't a moral issue as much as it was a econmic one.
So any political action from the north was looked upon as a threat to the south's slave system.
Look what happened when we left vietnam, N. vietnam launched an all out attack on S.vietnam and a million people were executed by the unified communist government, they killed anyone who they thought had cooperated with the U.S. who up until 1975 kept the democratic government in powerin S. vietnam.
And the mass slaughter wasn't just convined to S.Vietnam, in neighboring Cambodia, Pol Pot took advantage of our troop withdrawal by killing 2 million people, forcing children to execute their own parents.
This was reported by the american and international media but any outcry to do anything was silenced the "peace movements" in southeast Asia about ending "american imperialism".
The left in this country helped seal the fate of all those people.
The left wingers in this country and the American media helped stir up the anti war movement here and they have the blood of all those people on their hands who were left abandoned and slaughtered. To avoid being slaughtered or to die by starvation or forced labor, hundreds of thousands more died on make shift rafts when they drowned in the S.China sea in futile attempt to flee and escape.
ok first off it wasnt a democratic government that the US was suporting he was hated by his people more than the communist north the proof? the people in the south were the guerrilas the NVA didnt come till later and for our saintly government we bombed the south more than the north not to even go into the use of agent orange bottom line everyone was wrong and everyone would have been better if we would have just stayed out
You still haven't answered my previous question, you make an absurd, outrageous statement, now present something significant to back it up. Perhaps you might want to stop reading stuff from all those wacky, conspiracy theorist websites.
He has balls AAA more than anyone in the mainstream ever had and for your info many are with him including me... I'd vote for him for Pres in a second!
What do I base it on? The 9 11 Commission left out a lot of stuff. Building 7 . ALl the evidence from 9 11 was purposely destroyed. And I agree with Jesse- Why didn't anybody lose their job over 9/11? I don't have to have the answers AAA I just see that they are hiding a lot of stuff. Also those buildings couldnt have fallen down by just getting hit by planes. Dude there were Bombs in those buildings or in the planes ( 747's or not) all by themselves. Didn't you see the dust? It doesn't add up.
It doesn't add up. THATS what I'm going on. I know it's hard to believe that people can be that sick and evil but they are! Govt can be and probably is no different than Mafia . Theres stuff going on in the world between Politicians that has nothing to do with us they only care about themselves. They're playing their own games . And YES they let people die. Hard to believe but its true. As sick as it is I don't hesitate to question 9 /11 cause so much doesn't make sense
Engineers and demoliton experts have objectively debunked Jesse's claims as well as all the other 9/11 conspiracy whacko's claims.
Is Jesse an engineer or explosion expert? What does he know about physics?
As much as the internet is full of factual, helpful information, it is also full of alot of B.S. and one needs to be able to distinquish between the two.
Well, the weapons that Hussein had were from US when we were wanting to go to war with Iran back in 1982. So even if he did have weapons of mass destruction, they were probaly damn near 20 years old.
before debunking Ventura alone, lets debunk a higher category which is the American government and their claims of weapons of mass destruction. why do you even try to go against a single person when clearly there is a higher more apparent entity to go against that has done more damage and has killed so many innocent people, our glorious American government.
whether Bush lied or not is debatable, but i find hard to believe that Cheney isnt profiting in some way from high oil prices and rebuilding contracts. and how do you expect schools to succeed when teachers are paying out of pocket for classroom materials, not enough books for classes, always cutting after school programs that try to keep kids off the streets. the bush administration is about one thing greed, its about lining the pockets of people who put them in office, how can you not see that
And what makes you think that the dems or a Bill Clinton scandal ridden adminstration is any better, that he was re-elected for a second term and after 8 years of those scandal ridden Clinton years, the fact that she is even in the running for President, even though she won't win the nomination, just shows you how stupid the American voters are.
If Hillary, Obama and McCain are the best that either party has to offer it shows just how sad and pathetic the political scene really is in this country.
The U.S. is below average internationally expecially in math and science behind countries such as Thailand, the Czech and Slovac Republic, Slovenia, Singapore just to name a few.
We have a current Democrat do nothing congress, with the exception of a Republican congress for several years, prior to that we had a Democrat congress for 40 years and what did they do?
Dems and Repubs alike, they are politicians first and foremost.
Another thing .. as Jesse says .. Rep's Dems .. they're all in this together .. they're working together they want to pin us against each other and divide this country for THEIR own BS Agendas. Jesse is right there shoudl be more choices to vote for but they stonewall us with the system and how they manipulate it. Corruption is on both sides.
Jesse THE BODY Ventura with a giant body slam to the f#cking pundit tool idiots. he simply does not feel the need to stroke the political ego(s) of those in power. if youre a dick, he will tell you all about it.
These other commentators are worthless. They quote what the candidates SAY and then try to draw large differences between the parties...how about they LOOK at what both parties do and take notice of the same exact results they both produce which are catastrophic to our country.
Look first of all don't tell me to shut up that's something somebody like bill oreilly would say and i'm sure you don't want to be likened to him. ok i say americans because americans the only ones who can save your country. im not going to say you french, chinese or you canadians...you see what i'm saying? i'm not generalising, i don't do that.
yeah but sielomax, your previous response was a stereotype. it'd be like me saying to you, are you a fan of kelly osbourne? why not, you're from england aren't you? lol! you should also know that george bush's approval rating among americans is very low...like 34% of the country thinks he's a great leader. that's over half of the country dissatisfied with his policies. next time say, you 'bush-following' americans, so you don't group everyone in teh same basket.
that's right put the damn brit in his place... I'm tired of these STUPID EUROPEANS telling us Americans how to run our country... as if they were living in a Utopian, paradisical democracy LUSH with freedoms.
You guys are so WARPED with your statism that you guys conflate the person for the country- hence Europeans thinking that most, if not all, Americans agree with George Bush... we don't.
IOW, it was the GOVERNMENT not INDIVIDUAL Americans going around bullying the world.
well someone intelligent has to tell us how to run our country, listen we americans are s dumb,we believe we have freedom and most europeans laugh at us,cause compared to them,we have no freedom lol...and they have less problems than we do lol let them run lol
sielomax, not ALL americans like george bush ok? not ALL americans believe in this iraq war, ok? not ALL americans need to wake up ok? i'm an american and i've NEVER liked george bush! and there's millions more americans just like me, so shut up with this ridiculous and immature stereotyping, ok? thanks!
Dream Team = Dr. Ron Paul, Jesse Ventura, Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich, Cynthia McKinney, Robert Wexler, Marci Karput, Ralph Nadar, Russell Means, Peter Schiff. Bob Barr
What do the rest of our already elected officials look like? What do they sound like? Think about that... you'd better take him seriously, because he's probably one of the few people that is actually telling the truth. Thats what matters... not how he looks.
This man is just incredible.

exactly, I don't know what it is about Ventura, maybe it's just b/c he's not putting on an act like everyone else. I voted for Obama b/c I thought he was the best option, but if someone like Ventura was able to run- I'd easily vote for him.
speakupforjustice 2 years ago
So you think that Obama is a better option than Nader? You must be kidding...
trakkaton 2 years ago 3

Listen, if you're a "wrestling" fan and a Ventura fan, that's fine, but don't be taken in by this guys "celebrity" and assume that he is a qualified, competent leader, he's notm he's just givng his "opinion" nothing more.

residualrevenge 3 years ago
What facts specifically are you talking about, the facts according to Jesse?
If you're a wrestling fan or Jesse fan don't get offended, if you look to this guy as your hero fine, but this guy isn't remotely qualified to be president, it's ridiculous to even suggest such a thing, he's got a book to sell that's all.
AAA4509 3 years ago
he may not be qualified but neither is Bush, and look what happened
Ventura was correct about the domination of the REPUBLICRATS, bottom line the whole system is bought and paid for, the government is run by money. there's never enough money for education but there's money for war, there's money to hold political rallies and expensive banquets. its disgusting.
why would someone spend millions if dollars to get a job that only pays 300 to 400 thousand dollars. spending money to make money
7Rayo13 3 years ago
Bush is more qualified than Ventura and when you say look what happened are you saying that Bush lied and that's why we are at war?
That's nonsense and is not true.
Yes, unfortunately it's not the most qualified that wins an election but who has the most money, Obama and Hillary is a perfect example.
Your comment about education pumping more money into the education system does not make a better school system or more educated kids that's been proven.
AAA4509 3 years ago

AAA4509 3 years ago
what's the matter aaa, can't answer my q? to answer yours, how about this. jesse actually makes sense when he speaks, for starters.
charlieisking 3 years ago
How is Jesse more qualified than Bush or any of the other contemporary presidents?
He talks alot but I don't hear him giving any solutions to anything, I bet his totally off base, goofball claim that 9/11 attack was an inside job makes sense to you too.
I can more than answer your question, but the fact that you actually think this guy is even remotely qualified to be president says alot about you.
AAA4509 3 years ago
Just because you call a theory "goofball and off base" does not prove it false, bub.
You want to talk about qualifications, how about who has a better understanding of war? Jesse Ventura, Navy Seal, did 4 years in 'Nam as a demolitions specialist plus 2 more in the reserves. Bush, Texas National Guard. The unit Bush joined let him fulfill his military commitment at a base in Texas. Bush never served in Vietnam, but he did learn to fly some airplanes.
charlieisking 3 years ago
His claim that 9/11 was an "inside job" is a bunch of nonsense as was his other absurd remark comparing the U.S. to Nazi germany and his remark about immigration, the guy wants to sell books so of course he's going to make outrageous and absurd statements.
My 2 older cousins served in vietnam and the retired detective that lives near was also a navy seal so I guess they are qualified to be president as well according to your "logic".
AAA4509 3 years ago
Serving in vietnam or being a navy seal for that matter is not a prerequisite for being a good president.
Bush has proven he is a good leader, compared to whatwe could have had as President, John Kerry or Al Gore.
what is Jesse's foreign pilcy, how would he handle the immigration mess we have here, what would he do about the economy, he's alot of talk but gives no answers.
The guys an ego hungry media hound with a book he's trying to sell.
AAA4509 3 years ago
I agree, being in the military isn't a pre-req to be pres. However, it does give someone a much better understanding of what war truly is. Bush lacks this knowledge, and now our military is bogged down indefinitely in Iraq trying to police a civil war. How has he proven he's a good leader? He has the worst approval rating of all time! A majority of Americans feel we are headed in the WRONG direction according to every poll. Oh yeah, we're in the midst of a RECESSION! great leadership...
charlieisking 3 years ago
Listen, if you want to support this media hound then go but his book, he is not qualified to be president...period.
I don't like that we are over there, but do I think we should back out, no, that would play right into the terrorist's and extremist's hands.
They would say, see, we drove the U.S. out, there has been a growing hatred toward the U.S. and the west for 20 years and it was only a matter of time before we had to confront it.
AAA4509 3 years ago
Reagan had a very low approval rating at various times during his during presidency, not much better than Bush and Reagan had to lean up the mess Carter left, a bad economy, double digit inflation, gas shortage cars waiting in long lines at the pumps, a terribly weakened military, etc....
AAA4509 3 years ago
reagan's spending and the whole idea of "reaganomics" didn't help the situation though. bush has also set the economy down, and this was following clinton who had the economy making money, so that whole argument is essentially moot.
engineer89 3 years ago
now, i see what you're saying, but you're missing the point. "playing into the terrorists' and extremeists' hands"? there is NO TIE whatsoever between Iraq and 9/11, so why are we THERE? maybe we should be in afghanistan, where al quaeda organized and where osama bin laden is hiding...
as for whether or not he's qualified for the presidency, i think it's a little pointless for him to be bringing this issue up now, but he is a good politician and could do a lot for this country.
engineer89 3 years ago
I'm not getting into a debate with you about Why we're there, but pulling out now is not the answer and Bush didn't lie about the war as many want to accuse him of.
He could do alot for this country? Give me a few examples, he doesn't have an answer for anything, whether you like it or not, he's a media hound, he wants to sell some books.
AAA4509 3 years ago
Bush totally lied about this war .. Vietnam was lied about too .. hell the Cival War was lied about as well.. Amercians don't have to put up with that bs . vinnykster 3 years ago
Bush didn't lie about the war, you're wrong and what happened when we left vietnam ?, the civil war was lied about ?, do you know what the civll war was fought over ?
I agree with you, alot of people do have this, "what are you gonna do attitude" and most are clueless as to what really is going on.
AAA4509 3 years ago
He totally lied and Govt has NO right to do that! Iraq NEVER did ANYTHING to provoke us. Bin Laden wasn't there. It's about OIL . Iraq had NOThing to do wiht 9 11. The constitution says only CONGRESS can declare war and they did not. -Well they didn't but they did cause they knew if they gave permission to use FORCE that Bush would use that as a reason -but still you have to Declare War and they didn't word it that way which they MUST for President to go to war .
vinnykster 3 years ago
He didn't lie, you're wrong.
Intelligence from Jordon and Egypt both governments told General Tommy Franks that Iraq had wmd's.
Russian intelligence and Putin himself said yes Iraq did indeed have wmd's.
British intelligence, the 9/11 commishion and the Senate Intelligence Commitee all came to the same conclusion.
The Clinton Administration said the same thing, so this was across the board.
AAA4509 3 years ago
Hans Blix believed there were wmd's as well, he complained constantly, saying they won't let us interview any scientist's, who were key to findinf out what weapons Iraq did have.
He also complained about not being able to go where they want and about Iraq not cooperating.
Remember Iraq had 18 weapons violations.
AAA4509 3 years ago
So let's put all this in perspective, if bush lied as you so unjustly claim, then the Clinton Adminstration, King Abdullah,
Hosni Mubarak,
Valdmir Putin,
Tony Blair
and other middle eastern governments, the marines who found Iraqi chemical-biological weapon protection suits and field syringe injectors filled with an anti-nerve gas antidote all lied in a vast conspiracy that included everyone up and down the chain of command of the U.S. military.
So your claim is total nonsense
AAA4509 3 years ago
I guess the many skeptics of U.S. policy on toppling Hussein and also believed there were wmd's werea part of the conspiracy as well.
Your other claim about this being a war for oil is nonsense as well, oil from Iraq accounts for less than3% of oil used by the U.S.
Iraq is barely a player in the world oil market, remember when Saddam cut off exports for a month to try and instigate a new oil embargo, the world hardly noticed.
AAA4509 3 years ago
There is also the IEA which was created to protect itself against such interruptions and to deal with any emergencies and is ready to act if needed.
They have strategic oil reserves that are maintained by it's member countries that are equal to 5 years of Iraqi oil production.
So major exporters continued exporting oil and was prepared to produce more oil to makeup for it.

Thats violating the constitution
vinnykster 3 years ago
Yet ever since Lincoln they just say "well Lincoln did it so why not?" Well it's still wrong I don't care if they were violating the constitutino for 1000 years .. doesn't change the fact that its wrong and that we the people have the right to fight for it!
vinnykster 3 years ago
Jesse, Ron Paul and people like US are questioning the Govt because THAT is our DUTY. I don't claim to have all answers thats not what my statements are about nor Jesse's (and those answers he DOES have make total Sense btw! )Govt thinks it can control .. Well I'll tell you this .. I vote .. I read and educate myself and if push comes to shove I WILL fight with others for OUR constitutional rights and OUR money to take OUR country back from them and we'll start a new order.
vinnykster 3 years ago
I think we should back out, no, that would play right into the terrorist's and extremist's hands. Its what they want YOU/others to think-you're falling for the trap. vinnykster 3 years ago
i agree, chralieisking. bush does lack this knowledge, and ventura's comments that many politicians now are chickenhawks is pretty understandable. people who deferred service are the main people sending our young men to war. something about that doesn't seem right, and i'm glad that he's pointing it out.

vinnykster 3 years ago
First off Jesse didnt say 9/11 was an inside job, he is raising questions about what happened. He were go again of trying to write off someone who doenst swallow the media bullshit. Second read the enabling act of Germany and compare it to the patriot act here. Third ask yourself why that was ready to go so quickly after 9/11. Fourth. As for his qualifications, he served as Gov of MN for 4yrs and he was mayor in a MN city for 4yrs as well.
truthout911 3 years ago
he never claimed that 9/11 was an inside job, so don't cavil at him because of your own misunderstandings. he was skeptical, saying that there were a lot of fishy areas around the whole situation.
although it was a little extreme, his comparison of the u.s. to nazi germany was pretty justified. we're doing precisely what they did back during their reign, we're just using different terms.
engineer89 3 years ago
Enlighten me, what exactly did he say, have you heard him on other interviews?
AAA4509 3 years ago
I'm not blind ... I'm with Jesse with the 9/11 about it not adding up .. I believe there were bombs on the planes that made the blasts more powerful when the planes hit the towers for one .. and yes i do think that Bush and the Govt were behind 9/11..Jesse's statements echo my feelings about it. That people sit there and not question and just believe whatever they're told.. its very sad
vinnykster 3 years ago
Jesse doesn't know what he is talking about and if you think he does, you're very naive.
What do you base your absurd statement that Bush and the government were behind 9/11 ?
What reason would the president and government of the U.S. have to intentionally kill 3000 innocent people ?
It's an absurd and ridiculous statement.
Jesse makes a bunch of outrageous remarks because he wants to sell his book, he's an ego driven media hound, he talks alot but has no answers.
AAA4509 3 years ago
It's so hard to believe isn't it ? It's unthinkable ... The audacity it would take the govt to kill so many.. Hitler once said "The bigger the lie the easier the sell" .. Look at the Civil War-The cost in death alone was 620,000 Americans in a population of 30 million. If you standardized that for today's population of about 280 million, that would be about 5.5 million deaths, or more than 100 times the number of Americans who died in Vietnam -- and that was in just four years
vinnykster 3 years ago
They were lied to then... it wasn't about Slavery the govt violated so many rights (the right to succession for one. Then you have Vietnam... another bs war that was unneccessary .. all those lives gone because of a corrupt govt.. 9/11 is yet another example of the evil that exists Sending our kids to die in these bs wars its just as bad .. 9/11 is just another way
vinnykster 3 years ago
Go ahead and think we're crazy ... As Jesse said its unpatriotic NOT to question.. Yet people make it seem like its the other way around.. Being blind to what's going on is whats got people killed. I don't know who did what.. ok but I know this the 9/11 commission left out a lot of info .. the way Bush behaved was very shady..hell he didn't even the first election fair and square!
vinnykster 3 years ago
Slavery was the primary cause of the civil war and the reason why they wanted independence and state rights is because the political leaders of the south thought that if they had to pay their slaves or even worse, lost them, their entire socio economic system would collapse.
It wasn't a moral issue as much as it was a econmic one.
So any political action from the north was looked upon as a threat to the south's slave system.
AAA4509 3 years ago
Look what happened when we left vietnam, N. vietnam launched an all out attack on S.vietnam and a million people were executed by the unified communist government, they killed anyone who they thought had cooperated with the U.S. who up until 1975 kept the democratic government in powerin S. vietnam.
AAA4509 3 years ago
And the mass slaughter wasn't just convined to S.Vietnam, in neighboring Cambodia, Pol Pot took advantage of our troop withdrawal by killing 2 million people, forcing children to execute their own parents.
This was reported by the american and international media but any outcry to do anything was silenced the "peace movements" in southeast Asia about ending "american imperialism".
The left in this country helped seal the fate of all those people.
AAA4509 3 years ago
The left wingers in this country and the American media helped stir up the anti war movement here and they have the blood of all those people on their hands who were left abandoned and slaughtered. To avoid being slaughtered or to die by starvation or forced labor, hundreds of thousands more died on make shift rafts when they drowned in the S.China sea in futile attempt to flee and escape.
AAA4509 3 years ago
ok first off it wasnt a democratic government that the US was suporting he was hated by his people more than the communist north the proof? the people in the south were the guerrilas the NVA didnt come till later and for our saintly government we bombed the south more than the north not to even go into the use of agent orange bottom line everyone was wrong and everyone would have been better if we would have just stayed out

It doesn't add up.
vinnykster 3 years ago
It doesn't add up. THATS what I'm going on. I know it's hard to believe that people can be that sick and evil but they are! Govt can be and probably is no different than Mafia . Theres stuff going on in the world between Politicians that has nothing to do with us they only care about themselves. They're playing their own games . And YES they let people die. Hard to believe but its true. As sick as it is I don't hesitate to question 9 /11 cause so much doesn't make sense
vinnykster 3 years ago
So the 9/11 Commission was in on this as well.

So even if he did have weapons of mass destruction, they were probaly damn near 20 years old.
bvzxa3 3 years ago
before debunking Ventura alone, lets debunk a higher category which is the American government and their claims of weapons of mass destruction. why do you even try to go against a single person when clearly there is a higher more apparent entity to go against that has done more damage and has killed so many innocent people, our glorious American government.

whether Bush lied or not is debatable, but i find hard to believe that Cheney isnt profiting in some way from high oil prices and rebuilding contracts. and how do you expect schools to succeed when teachers are paying out of pocket for classroom materials, not enough books for classes, always cutting after school programs that try to keep kids off the streets. the bush administration is about one thing greed, its about lining the pockets of people who put them in office, how can you not see that

AAA4509 3 years ago
Another thing .. as Jesse says .. Rep's Dems .. they're all in this together .. they're working together they want to pin us against each other and divide this country for THEIR own BS Agendas. Jesse is right there shoudl be more choices to vote for but they stonewall us with the system and how they manipulate it. Corruption is on both sides.

Sielomax 3 years ago
yeah but sielomax, your previous response was a stereotype. it'd be like me saying to you, are you a fan of kelly osbourne? why not, you're from england aren't you? lol! you should also know that george bush's approval rating among americans is very low...like 34% of the country thinks he's a great leader. that's over half of the country dissatisfied with his policies. next time say, you 'bush-following' americans, so you don't group everyone in teh same basket.

LOL!! All the US does is tell other countries how to live. Calling the kettle black are we?

Except for the fact that I am not the U.S.
You guys are so WARPED with your statism that you guys conflate the person for the country- hence Europeans thinking that most, if not all, Americans agree with George Bush... we don't.
IOW, it was the GOVERNMENT not INDIVIDUAL Americans going around bullying the world.
marcdaddy33 3 years ago
well someone intelligent has to tell us how to run our country, listen we americans are s dumb,we believe we have freedom and most europeans laugh at us,cause compared to them,we have no freedom lol...and they have less problems than we do lol let them run lol

What do the rest of our already elected officials look like? What do they sound like? Think about that... you'd better take him seriously, because he's probably one of the few people that is actually telling the truth. Thats what matters... not how he looks.
